The Gambino crime families power in Miami - 01/18/23 01:40 AM

How much power and control do the Gambinos possess in Miami? Didn’t this city always have a strong connection to New York?

At one time I have read they had a very active crew Ronnie “One Arm” was the captain and they absorbed the remaining Trafficante crew.

John ALIAR was part of thy crew.

That was many years ago.

That info is dated.

The only case I now remember was Roberto Settineri, he was close to Gaetano Napoli Sr.,.

I am pretty sure he took over the Berg crew which was a really big crew that brought in cash.
When he got knocked by the feds, his son took over the crew.

Jr. was in the shelf not sure about his status today.
Looks like he needed to be checked and he was, I don’t think his offense was a life time shelf.

So they probably let him back in not as a capo he is going to have to pay his dues when he is taken off the shelf.

At that point we’ll see if he was who he was because he was given the crew or he was able to build it up on his own again.

Many NY guys own property throughout Florida
Joey Merlino vacations there all the time so alot of Philly guys too.
Where do you think they get all their good coke connections other then NY from? Miami! Duh lol.

Merlino has lived down there since he got out of prison some years ago, I read he has a crew down there as well.

I notice many people are so fond of SW Florida but I’ve always been biased towards the SE area down by Boca. He’s in the best area of the state in my opinion as I lived in Jupiter for a period of my life, excellent place! Spent a good amount of time in Boca, it’s a great community! Naples is just way too old age wise. Get dirty looks if you are under the age of 50.

Naples is the new Miami Beach. Can’t retire to Miami anymore. Too gangsta.

They will probably let Junior Gotti back in? Haha it amazes me how little some of you know about this life. Jr is persona non grata. As good as dead. You don't talk to the feds and rejoin lol

You can easily still retire in Boca, Palm Beach and Jupiter. Never really knew anyone that used Miami more than a place to go enjoy the clubs and bars.

There's no chance John Gotti Jr. will be taken off the shelf. There's more chance Kanye West will become the next president than for that guy ever becoming relevant in that life again. No one should have to explain why.

It depends on which tax bracket you're in. Brickell has a lot of retirees, but those people are very well off

If someone can retire in Naples they easily can afford Boca or Jupiter. It’s not even a debate and both places have extremely low crime.

I was not talking about Gotti Jr.
I was referring to Trucchio Jr

I said I thought Trucchio Jr took over the Bergin from his dad when he dad Ronnie One Arm got life in prison.

I said he was handed a big crew I am not sure if thy is the only reason he made money or he was to generate money on his own.

I read he was put on the shelf for disrespecting Corrozzo, I also heard he got smacked up while he was locked for the same offense.

I do not think disrespecting Corrozzo should be a life time Shelfing, so at some point they will prob let him back in.

Not as a capo just a plain old
Button man, at that point when they let him back in with out a crew we will see if he has money making skills.

Nothing to do Gotti Jr, was just being lazy instead typing his name I typed Jr.

Lol that's funny. You should've just said Al. What you said fit Jr. Gotti so well, but hey no harm no foul. Al should be taken off the shelf I agree. Roc is probably a captain by now

There was in the late 1990s early 2000s a Gambino Florida capo that went on the lam with the HA for years before get caught. I dont remember the name.

I guarantee you the high class escorts down in South Florida are all working for mob guys. That is a guarantee. Huge racket for them down there that is for sure, and I'm sure Merlino has a few girls bringing him some serious $$$. These girls charge $1500 per hour and look like Porn stars. No cheap crack whores we are talking about.

Also making serious cash with strip joints as well.
