St. Louis Crime Family. Who's not to mess with? - 01/09/23 09:02 PM

Ok just thinking about the St. Louis crime family and knowing there are some guys down there still that are connected.

Does St. Louis have anyone right now who is feared? Someone they use to enforce shit in the city?

There has to be some sort of action still in St. Louis and guys that can handle stuff if need be.

Cammarata has guys who can handle heavy stuff. Tocco is another who is spoke of to not cross. Mostly it is just beatdowns. Two killings in the 2010s were thought to be related to the the family, but the family had nothing to do with them, as it was a gang that does business with the family on occasion. There also zips there who are mainly in real estate and narcotics, said to be more vicious and harder to do business with compared to the St. Louis family.

St Louis family always had strong links to Sicily, Anthony Lopiparo, Frank “Three Fingers” Coppola, and Ralph “Shorty Ralph” Caleca led the family at one time. Coppola in particular was a major figure in Sicilian Cosa Nostra.

The St Louis family is defunct, and has been for some time. Joe Cammarata died in 2013. According to my research, Tocco was never made. There are 3 of the "old school" guys left: Frank Palazzolo (~77) Vincent "Vinny" Cammarata (~69) and Fernando "Nando" Bartolotta (~66). None of them have been arrested or in any public trouble for well over a decade. The last news on any of them was when Nando made the casino black book in 2009.

There are rumors of activity, but running a small book does not qualify as a functioning family in my humble opinion.
