**New Vid* A look at the world famous mob cemetery - 10/27/2208:07 PM
Take a look at the tour I give of the famous mobsters buried at St. John Cemetery in Queens. From Gotti to Luciano, many of the biggest NY mobsters are buried here!

I have often pondered how the finances of a cemetery operates...You have say someone like Frank Costello, that died almost 50 years ago and paid whatever fee, and the fact his grave takes up 1/4 of an acre :o)
I have heard that future burials pay for the maintenance BUT, when the land is fully stocked, what happens? Break out the phonebook and look for Frank Jr. or Jr.Jr., looking for juice on the plot? Boy would that scenario be ironic.

Interesting. Btw I went to college in Philly, that's when I first learned about The Philly mob. I only knew about New York mobsters at the time but started seeing Skinny Joey and Scarfo on Philly the news.

The Italian and Irish gangsters will be found in the Catholic cemeteries. You can check for Jewish gangsters burial sites in Jewish cemeteries in any city. The Detroit Purple gang members and the Brownsville Murder Inc. ones can likely be found in New York.
