There are alot of Italians in this bust, some ive never heard of. A poster on black hand said that one of the names is known to be connected to Detroit/windsor lcn people. Anyone know anything else? It would be interesting if detroit guys have people in toronto/woodbridge working for them.

the only person from windsor is fawzi zaid...doesn't strike me as someone tied in to THE PARTNERSHIP.
out of the 20 arrested only 3 have previous arrest records that i could find.

itolo mallozzi arrested july. 27 2014 for importation of 73 kg of ketamine from india along w/ kevin gowanlock and amritbal gill.

frank nereo fogazzi arrested may.21 2018 at peace bridge border crossing attempting to smuggle 104 LBS of cannabis into U.S. released july.16 2020 time served.
and an older charge from 1993 for tax evasion/fraud.

mehakdeep maan arrested april.12 2021 with 2 others in saskatchewan w/ a 4000LBS load of cannabis. arrested aug.18 2020 on firearms charge.

nowhere anywhere could i find even a sniff of a connection to the mafia in detroit.

detroit does not have a crew in toronto/woodbridge now and they never did.

The users on blackhand i mentioned before said that the mastronardis are the ones that are rumored to be connected to windsor lcn. They are a huge family, mainly involved in legit stuff like farming, especially in greenhouses but have also got involved with the legal weed business, which we all know is still shady. The mastronardis live around leamington which is not too far south of windsor.

Seems like a co-operation between Italian organized crime and Indo-Canadian/Punjabi organized crime (with a Bosnian, a Bulgarian, an Armenian and a Lebanese criminal jumping on the train for a slice of the pie). These are all groups that are very much entrenched in Ontario. I don't see any American LCN family getting a cut from this.

One reason they might be (might) american lcn involved, or people affiliated to american lcn, would be the smuggling across the border to the american side. Supposedly this stuff (dope, ect) was on route from los angeles and passed over the st clair and other canadian/american border points

Just wanted to clear something up, the poster on black hand has clarified to me that he has heard rumours that the mastronardis were tied to to the mafia, but did not specifically hear which mafia group it was. Due to the close proximity of leamington to Windsor, detroit was more speculation than anything.
