The head of the Casalesi Michele Zagaria, currently restricted to 41bis, was acquitted by the court, when according to the District Anti-Mafia Directorate of Naples, Zagaria would have continued to manage the clan by giving directives to the outside through messages delivered to family members.

Moreover, for the same facts, some family members of the boss, including Zagaria's sisters and sisters-in-law (wives of the three brothers Antonio, Pasquale and Carmine), were sentenced only for receiving stolen salaries to affiliates and not for criminal association of Camorra mold. The DDA had sifted through years of talks, of spoken and unspoken words, of looks and signals between Zagaria and his sisters, especially Gesualda and Beatrice; but for the college chaired by judge Marina Napolitano, those messages were not directives to be given to the affiliates still on the street.

Ambush against the children of the former Casalesi repentant
By editorial staff Caserta 27 September 2022
CASAL DI PRINCIPE . The children of a former collaborator of justice are the two brothers, aged 19 and 21, victims of an ambush in Neptune two days ago, in a residential area of ??the Municipality near Rome.

The two, who remained unharmed, are the sons of a former affiliate of the Casalesi Camorra clan in the areas of Nettuno and Anzio over 15 years ago. The police investigate the matter.

The father of the two targets of the raid was definitively convicted in the Sfinge trial on the interests of the Schiavone clan between Aprilia, Cisterna, Anzio and Nettuno. In the perlatro area, Maria Rosaria Schiavone, niece of the boss Francesco Schiavone “Sandokan” and daughter of the collaborator of justice Carmine Schiavone, who later died , acted in the past .

The Naples Court of Appeal has sentenced the head of the Casalesi Francesco Schiavone known as “Sandokan”, to another life imprisonment. He allegedly ordered the 1996 murder of Giovanni Parente, a funeral director who dared to oppose the clan's monopoly in the sector.

Connected by videoconference from the prison where he is being held, Sandokan listened to and silently accepted the verdict, yet another life sentence in his life. Not a word, unlike the boss Michele Zagaria who instead usually intervenes and discusses in the trials in which he is accused.

With him, his cousin of the same name, Francesco Schiavone , known as "Cicciariello" , was also sentenced to life imprisonment . Unlike the former, he dissociated himself from the facts of the clan without ever starting a path of collaboration with justice.

The Clan dei Casalesi is a special structure within the Camorra (Neapolitan mafia). The clan consists of 7 families whose organization is similar to that of the Sicilian Cosa Nostra . It is one of the most powerful mafia clans in Italy . According to the Naples anti-mafia prosecutor , the clan's annual turnover would be $30 billion . It controls the province of Caserta from its stronghold Casal di Principe, and is believed to be responsible for 686 murders between 1985 and 2004. The clan is one of the most powerful and influential criminal organizations in the world with approximately 150 to 160 leaders and 8,000 to 9,000 members.

Casalesi alone having 8000-9000 members? Where they came up with numbers like that , there is no way.

Members plus associates. In the town Casal di Principe alone 3000 people were kept under police surveillance because of prior convictions or known affiliation with the clan.

Of course this was in their heydays todays Casalesi may be less big. In 2012 the U.S. placed sanctions on bosses and high-level members of the clan,

There's no real concept of membership in the Camorra so the estimation of 8000-9000 is most likely considering the total amount of people involved in the clan`s criminal activities.

Money, champagne and criminal raids: the propaganda of the 'G Family' on TikTok

TikTok has long become the favorite propaganda tool of criminal groups.

This is also the case of 'La Famiglia G.' who has decided to use the Chinese platform to dictate the law and let others know that they are there: raids on cars and scooters, toasts to Moët & Chandon, money, lots of money to throw in the face of others. And above all two mottos: “ let's toast to yours, infamous ” and “ you are all dead and you don't know it".

But who are they? G as DG, right arm of Giuseppe Setola, boss of the Casalesi clan - called 'o cecate or' the crazy. Killer of the clan and sentenced to life imprisonment for the massacre of Castel Volturno which took place on 18 September 2008. In which the convicted Antonio Celiento (manager of a games room in Baia Verde, suspected of being an informant of the police) was killed and six African immigrants, innocent victims.

“ They set up a gang made up of characters from central Naples, the Rione Traiano, Castel Volturno and Casal di principe. They must be stopped because they can't take it anymore!". In fact, the entire territory of Castel Volturno has been subjected to episodes of violence for more than a year.

From what i have read Della Corte seems te be a very ambitious and dangerous leader with a close group of loyalists.

– With the godparents in jail and with their 'dolphins' put out of action by pentimenti and precautionary orders, the leadership of the Schiavone-Russo clan, according to the District Anti-Mafia Directorate of Naples, had been entrusted to Giovanni Della Corte: historically linked to the Sandokan family , he would have been the one to reorganize and direct the group, planning and coordinating the meetings of the affiliates..

Assets for around 60 million euros were seized by the carabinieri del Ros of Naples and by the military from the Guardia di Finanza of Caserta from an entrepreneur from the Caserta area believed to be linked to the Belforte clan of Marcianise (Caserta) and to the Zagaria group of the Casalesi clan.

It is Paolo Siciliano , owner, among other things, of the "Pellicano" supermarket chain , the entrepreneur from whom the Ros and the Guardia di Finanza seized assets for around sixty million euros this morning. Siciliano was arrested together with the nephews of the boss Michele Zagaria Filippo, Nicola and Mario Francesco Capaldo but, subsequently, the Court of Review released him. Eight companies in the real estate, construction and wholesale trade of food products are attributable to the entrepreneur, which owns a chain of supermarkets that has twenty-one points of sale in the province of Caserta.

The police have seized 21 supermarkets and also sealed off other businesses, including cash and carry. The structures will continue to work (they will remain open even after they have been seized), but a judicial administrator will soon be appointed, as per practice in these cases.

The blitz concerned the activities owned by Siciliano in Caserta, San Prisco, Marcianise, Mondragone, Capua, Castel Volturno, Casagiove, Aversa, San Nicola, Alvignano, Santa Maria Capua Vetere and Recale.
