D'amato DeCav's bi boss

Acting Decavalcantes boss John D'amato was killed by his own mob for being gay/ bi.. Allegedly.
Anyone here think it is true? I don't..
It's was said by his pissed off girlfriend. And also the guys involved all turned rat . And in the garden state book written that decav plotters were making up accusations to justify their actions. Not a topic I've read much about so who knows.

It was just an excuse to kill him. They were worried that he was seizing control of the family. They didn't even check if it was true.

Yeah, who even verified that, that was true....Who investigated it ??

I think Rotundo said on the witness stand that "He could not be a leader of men" if he was queer. I guess he was going by the rumor, I don't recall if he had any way to verify it. How could anyone verify he was gay, unless they say they had sex with him.
