Bobby Luisi & Paul Tanso - 05/17/22 11:53 AM

They were doing podcasts, seems they have fallen out and all of Bobby's IT equipment has gone missing!

I think we'll see over the year or so that nearly all these podcasters will either close down or move on. I wouldn't be surprised that by next year this time there are only 1 or 2 left (if that).

I don't feel any of these guys have any real shelf life. The majority of them are already regurgitating the same old stories round and round, and embellishing on things that never even happened to try and maintain an audience. 90% of what they talk about is either boring or now even mob-related.

To your point TNYM, Sammy Gravano just made a video about a dog pooping in his prison cell. So yes, I would say that they are running out of things to talk about. At least we'll still have Franzese to review movies...????

Yes, I'm in complete agreement with you BigTuna. I've been noticing that same exact thing lately with these podcasters. Not to mention any particular name per se, but you either have legit former mob guys/turned rat with some name recognition who are now reduced to talking about dog poop, or you have absolute numbskull nobodies trying to become relevant by lying through their teeth to the public about their connections back to Brooklyn, etc......It's actually some sad shit! Lol

Because we all need Franzese to critique movies for us now? OMG. He's a broken down version of "Siskel & Ebert"

They used to review and give movies a thumbs up or down. He gives a "broken" thumbs up or down. Lol. I ask you now, how low has the public sunk for this?

First of all who would even listen to these morons. Second this Luisi moron is a nobody and always was a nobody. This moron was in a bathroom with a guy in the same stall why does he not say that. I know why because it is true.

I've listened to an episode or two put out by 2 or 3 of these former mob guys/current informants. But I usually get bored before they're done. I haven't [even] been able to sit through a single episode of some of these other idiots who are rank legit-suckers lost in space who play "pretend" and make like they know anything about anything, or to have EVER known real street guys. It's a comical farce!

What I meant was a figure of speech. I did not mean anyone who listens to their lies is a stupid. You do your homework and if you are incorrect about something you say it. It’s truly crazy about how many guys are compromised and the guys who have testified. They are honored by people who know nothing about the life and I mean nothing.

No, I followed what you said and how you meant it...And I agreed with you.

Most of these podcasts run by former "so-called" mob guys, (and especially these new country-bumpkin legit-sucker type podcasters who popped up) and have recently converged onto the "mob genre" scene as well, are so mind-numbing to try and watch. Boring with a capital B.

Of all of them there's only been one particular fella who I thought had a bit on the ball for awhile. But as time goes on I see he's another empty suit.

I honestly don't understand how the general public (as uninitiated as they may be to the mob) could be so gullible as to believe what these fellas have to say. It just goes to prove that old adage correct, that "a sucker is born every day, and two to take him!"

Are these people so starved for entertainment that they will watch anything and anyone? Regardless of how mindless the content is, so long as its packaged as "the mafia"?

I have never been big into guys who turn informants doing podcasts. Especially Franzese. I think he is a total clown. Admittedly, I did tune into Sammy's early on because obviously he's someone who at a certain point carried quite a bit of weight in that life, and he certainly would have some stories to tell. Not too long into listening to his stuff, you start to notice that every story he tells he makes himself out to be a hero. He also constantly uses Gotti's name for clout, which is already way played out by everyone. Now he talks about shit that is either patently false, or just not interesting. The guy is clearly a scumbag, as are virtually all these guys who have podcasts. Just a big scam, but there's always going to be suckers who eat it up.

Same here on Big Tuna's comment. Speaking of comments, are the comments under Gravano's and others videos from real people who watched it, or from a bot? If you look at the comments section it must be an automated system or themselves making most of the comments. There are too many idolizing and praising to be real.

Out of all the YouTube rat podcasters, Michael Franzese is by far the worst. Sammy is terrible too but Franzese is a bigger hypocrite. He also stretches the truth in a way I've not seen many people do before. If he won a million dollars in the lotto, he'd tell you he won two. 10 years later, that number becomes three million.

Michael Franzese is scum of the earth. F that guy.

Re: Bobby Luisi & Paul Tanso - 06/24/22 03:04 PM

I don't find Franzese nearly as bad as others. He does exaggerate often, which makes me wonder about the gas tax scam that made him famous. If he really started it ( I have seen people say it was Russians) and if he did make all those millions. Franzese can be good at times, in fact he often is. Maybe when the competition is Gravano, Alite, and others it isn't so tough. I can't stand Pennisi, who has taken on the role of assistant prosecutor for current and upcoming cases.

I don't like any of these people and I avoid these podcasts like the plague. For some reason YouTube keeps recommending this garbage to me. Pennisi doesn't get on my nerves like the others though. He's an odd man. He reminds me of those guys at the post office who are nice to everyone for 29 years and then blow up and murder everybody

Lol….I totally agree. He is a strange dude indeed. The kind of guy where you have to walk on egg shells around him and are always worried he may get offended if you say the wrong thing. Out of all of them, he is one of the better ones. I also like Calandra. Franzese is alraight.
Calandra doesnt make him out to be bigger than he was, Alite is notorious for that. Alite also has a serious tough guy complex.
Sammy justs bashes Gotti even though I firmly believe he idolized the guy.
