If you could have any wiseguy that flipped write a book who would it be. My top 6 would be:
1.Joseph Massino Bonnano Boss
2.Nick Calabrese Chicago Solider
3.Vinny Ocean Palermo New Jersey Acting Boss
4.William D’Elia Bufalino Boss
5.Dino Colabro Colombo Capo regime
6.Carmine Sessa Colombo Consigliere

Joey Massino for sure. He must a have a ton of good stories to tell.
I'd also be interesting in reading the memoirs of Carmine Sessa and Michael Di Leonardo.

Joey Massino (Bonanno)
Vincent Palermo (Decavalcante)
Michael DiLeonardo (Gambino)
Nick Calabrese (Chicago)
Anthony Casso (Lucchese) this is one I seriously doubt will ever happen.

Good idea for a thread.
1. Massino - From his POV.
2. Savino / Barrone / Cafaro - Yes, I realize all of them are dead but what a bigger look we'd have overall over a long period of time. Hence, why I combined all of them.
3. Sessa - Biggest inside info on the 3rd Colombo War.
4. Casso - Not the awful Carlo book.
5. Ronald Raiton - OG Meth dealer in the 70s/early 80s.

Massino is a great choice, I think Id like to read that one.
I know he didnt "flip" but if you could get some stories out of Tommy Karate it would be worth its weight in gold

Massino has got to be the undisputed number one. Given that he is a rat, I'm surprised this has not already happened. There's also I think a subcategory beneath this - i.e. Sal Vitale; he'd offer many of the same stories from a different perspective. A notch down in the subcategory, Frank Lino would also have some stories to tell.
Palermo would be interesting as well given the DeCavalcante/Gambino dynamic going on at the time.
Calabrese would be a rare window into Chicago, that would be very good too.
DiLeonardo is also a great choice.
The Andrea Scoppa book which is now out in French but will be released in English in about six months will, for the first time, shine light on Montreal from an insider's perspective.

Massino's testimony is enough for me, if he does a book he'll just lie, like they all do.
