Was there an incident where Paul Vario's crew ransacked a restaurant and beat up the workers?

Yes, I guess a waiter spilled a drink on his wife and tried to clean it up w a towel which according to Paulie was “crossing the line” they then preceded to beat the shit out of the entire waiter staff all night, using bats, crowbars and pipes...he was a man of honor...

Did this really need a new thread…. It could have been posted in the most recent or maybe one of the 10 other existing threads of Vario.

If Henry Hill is the source the story is fake.

Yeah, he lied about absolutely everything. His name was actually Dorothy and he was in Kansas the whole time. The whole thing with the Vario crew and Jimmy Burke was all a dream after he hit his head during a tornado.

There's a clip on youtube somewhere, where he's totally fucked up on the Howard Stern Show, and mumbles something about two hits pauly made him do. Maybe it was three. They ask him to clarify and he claims up.

I dont know if he meant he was in on them or the actual trigger man. Or was lying. Or accidentally being honest because he was so fucked up on who knows what, or what. Just sayin, it's out there.

In that clip Henry says he killed three people. He shot someone at 16 after making them march into the woods and then he killed two more when he was 22, including one with an icepick. Although it didn't seem like he understood Robin's question about how old he was for the other two hits, so he just repeated 22. He was shitfaced though. I'm sure he made it up. He "remembered" a lot of things that didn't really happen. Including none other than John Gotti himself producing a "silenced .357 Magnum" (lol) from his leather trench coat and blasting Tommy DeSimone in the head. That was "revealed" in the last book he was involved with about Lufthansa.

Most of what came out years after the Book Wiseguy from Hill was bullshit especially on Stern...even though its very possible Gotti Shot desimone....Gotti also shot Vito Borelli in the head during the same time period and who knows who else...

Seems like the most likely suspect---Tommy Agro killed Tommy since before GoodFellas and Pesci's portrayal, there wasn't much info out there. In Joe "Dogs" Ianuzzi's book there was just one page dedicated to discussing T.A. killing DeSimone and his brother, who was a suspected or confirmed rat. He joked about killing the other DeSimone brother to complete the trifecta. This was before GoodFellas. After that all of the sudden Tommy became a bit of bigger deal and of course who better to say killed him in your book than Gotti himself after he had passed away in prison.

It may have been but IMO the Gotti crew did it. Now wether it was Gotti or someone in his crew IDK but I can’t see them letting Desimone kill people close to them especially Foxy and not taking care of the problem themselves. It wouldn’t look right them asking another Gambino crew so handle it, Gotti had shooters in his crew and I know when they were going to use the father in law, Mike Roccaforte Sr(the father of current Soldier Mike Roccaforte Jr) and Roach Rampino were going to be the shooters...

. That’s very true Louis. Personally I never bought the whole “Gotti killed Tommy” theory. However the Bergin crew had a lot of killers like you said do I think it’s very possible they killed him
