Why aren't more tapes available?

Given that for a lot of the more historical figures (Castellano, Ruggiero, Sonny Black, Henry Hill) most of the principal figures are long dead, why aren't more tapes publicly available?

You figure LITERALLY every single Nixon tape is available now. So why not for these guys?

Because the FBI and other agencies do not like what is on the tapes. That is the only explanation.

Generally, government agencies don't release tapes or other info used in criminal investigations unless you specifically ask for them--and you may have to sue under the Freedom of Information Act to get them. If the tapes or info were used in a trial (like Gotti's conversations in the apartment over the Ravenite in his last trial) then they're a matter of public record. You can get them as part of trial transcript that you have to pay for.

You can actually hear the ceremony look it up it’s on a providence tv website they have a espoused where they clean the video and you can hear it clear and I would spend days binging listening to angiulo tapes as well as patriaca tapes in the 60s the illegal one they had

cameras aren't allowed in Fed Cases is the main reason. So other than leaking snippets to the media to help their cases they don't have an incentive to release the majority of them

I think she is a liar, if they had tapes of them saying they beat their wives and children those are the type of tapes they would release or leak to the media.
