Chapo should have made a deal to protect his family, the US will go after them the sons are next.

For sure he will continue to live like a queen in the prison;he is the El chapo wife,the other inmates and the guards won't touch her. For the sons,the mexicans cant keep El chapito that suddendly his men freed him,I doubt that the mexican cant caught them.

The former beauty queen is accused of acting as an intermediary between “El Chapo” and his organization. In addition to the jail sentence, the prosecutors also demand that she be placed under surveillance for five years after her release and pay a fine of $1.5 million (€1.3 million).

If his organization is so big and powerful why is she needed to act as an go between.

Is powerful in Mexico and for sure the beauty queen was a go between his husband and the cartel.
