M. Franzese - 02/10/21 07:39 PM

I apologize if this has been addressed previously and I missed it. I just watched the M. Franzese interview with Vlad (?). He comes across sincere however there are two things (actually a few more but much more minor things) that stand out as completely wrong and if was as knowledgeable as he claims and/or sincere seems to me he would not have made a mistake in stating. 1. He agreed with Vlad that the A. Gallo hit ordered on Joe Yac where innocents were killed happened in Vegas. It happened in NYC a pretty big mistake as I see it. And 2 the attempted hit on V. Orena at his house was a miss by the hitmen. They didn't miss him, he busted them being there and took off, no actual hit attempt took place. So, is he BS'ing or just a bad memory?

As far as the Joey Gallo hit goes. Franzese does know the correct answer. He's not an idiot. He was already about 20 years old at the time. He was a college kid, but everybody in NYC remembers the incident. He probably just misspoke or got mixed up in his recitation of it.

But as far as the attempt on Little Vic? Franzese went bad in December, 1985. He was way off the scene by early 1986, and NOT in contact with anybody except the feds.

The incident with Orena happened in late 1990, early 1991. So its way after Franzese had gone to California, and was hiding out from his old friends who wanted to hit him in the head.

He knows as much about the "3rd Colombo War" as the man in the moon. He wasn't even on speaking terms with his old man then. In fact, Sonny was in prison at the time anyway.

I do enjoy his youtube videos. He makes his stories of life in the mob very entertaining.

Franzese annoys me so much, because all of these groupies believe everything he says...When at best 50% is true !!

I am sure he embellishes his stories, a lot. I think a significant amount of his income is based on subscribers and viewership, so there is pressure to keep it fresh and entertaining, even at the expense of the truth.

Which one? He's had a couple. Vlad got it mixed up because he's a moron when it comes to mob stuff. He got mixed up on the Neopolitan Noodle hit. An outside vegas gunman botched the hit ordered by kid blast on Joe Yack, Allie Boy, etc. I've always wondered who that vegas hitman was. He didn't know shit about NY obviously. At first I thought Spilotro. Then I thought Mike rizzitiello.
