I never read he was part of the Gallo faction, if he was it just adds to my argument the Gallo faction was the baddest crew ever. Whole lot of those guys moved on to other families and up the chain, and even those that stayed in the Columbo's moved up and were bad asses (persico). While I'm on a soap box, another reason I don't understand the Columbo lack of respect.

RIP. This man lived, for sure. He even made a movie. It was horrendous, but nonetheless there's a lot of starving filmmakers and screenwriters that never get anything out to streaming (or in those days straight-to-DVD). He had a dream beyond being a wiseguy. Went to Hollywood A-list functions with Liz Hurley on his arm.

Shacks was with Carmine, where Carmine went, Montemarano went. No, LA does not belong to Joe Isgro. He is not the only member in the entertainment business, but he is perhaps the most powerful one now.
