Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! - 12/25/20 01:57 PM

Lisa and I would like to wish everybody who celebrates, a very Merry Christmas!

Hope everybody stays safe out there. The vaccine is right around the corner, and hopefully next year we'll all be back to celebrating with our extended family and friends normally.

We would also like to humbly say that we truly appreciate all of you who have supported our work and our website this past year. So we thank you for that.

Enjoy the day, Merry Christmas!

Or happy ground hog day on Kwaanza ? Its getting ridiculous. Its like the news media describing a suspect in a home invasion: they say he was between 20-30 years old and between 5 ft 5 and 6 ft. Yeah, let the cops search for 6 million people.

The point is that to the best of my knowledge at least, December 25th is "Christmas Day." It is the only holiday celebrated on that particular day of the year no? Am I wrong? Is there any other holiday, religious or otherwise, that is recognized on 12/25?

Please enlighten me if there is. Lenox was just pointing that out. And I commented that he had a point there.

Thank you for the enlightenment that Christmas is on December 25th. Obviously you are the only one who knows that. The poster wished love and joy during the holidays and I could not agree more. Stop with the ‘holiday’ rhetoric, it just makes you look ignorant and uneducated.

What an utterly ridiculous and stupid thing for you to say back to me. I actually thought you were asking a legitimate question, as though you were confused with Lenox's statement. How foolish of me to fall into your trap of "nastiness" Lol.... why would you start some shit over Christmas? Do you not celebrate? Are you prejudice about Xmas and anybody who is a Christian or Catholic and does celebrate?

Why in the world would you even start some cheap shit like you did? I posted a "Merry Christmas" to EVERYBODY who celebrates on the forum. Even THIS you take issue with? Thats a pretty fucked up thing if you ask me!

And as far as "looking ignorant and uneducated" as you stated above, go look in the mirror! Because you are the fella with the problem. Not me.... Now go fuck yourself!

I'll say it again, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all who celebrate. And to those of you who don't, I do hope you enjoy whatever holiday you DO celebrate. And Happy New Year to all of us! After a year of Covid, I think we could all use a break. Thank goodness for the vaccine. Let's hope its distributed quickly and safely to all.

To address our more levelheaded and "nice" forum members,

On a more constructive note, Lisa and I have been working on an intricate expose for several months already. It will be an exhaustive breakdown of "The Life," or should I say the results of life in "The Life."

The arrests, imprisonments, years spent behind bars, etc. Who made money. Who made a ton of money. Who didn't. Who was dead broke. Who stood up like a champ. Who turned informant. Who got shot. Who got killed. Who committed suicide. Who faded out. Who rose to stardom.....And everything else in between.

I think you guys are gonna really enjoy it. It's a complex piece. So I've been taking my time with it trying to make it right. We would have had it out already except that between our website, the constant flow of bios and other stories we try and give you, and now with our Fireside Chat podcast its been a full dance card for sure...but its coming ok fellas! Promise. Soon as we can finish up.

It lists hundreds of guys (literally), so its gonna be a "graph like" chart. I'll try and keep you posted as we go along.

Maybe I wasn't clear. I said nothing about the 25th of anything, nor did I mention Xmas. This time of year, some celebrate Xmas,or Chanukah,or Kwanzaa. So Holidays is a generic term used to describe a time of year when these are celebrated. PS. That would also include New Year's Eve. So Happy Holidays Everyone !!!!!!!

Thank you Bensonhursat. And the Merriest of Christmases to you and your family as well! God bless! I love this time of year. Its definitely not the same anymore like in years past when my whole family was still around; grandparents, my mom and dad, uncles, aunts, cousins, siblings, extended family, etc. We used to have a very traditional Italian style Xmas. 25-30 people was the norm for Christmas Eve. Lol, crazy nice. Then neighborhood friends would stop by to say hello also.... truly priceless memories.

We would start at like 6pm or so, and go till 4-5am the next morning. The "Feast of the Seven Fish" before midnight, and then sausage and peppers, lasagna, various meats, cheeses, "Cosa dolce" such as Cassata cake, cannoli, pignolata, etc, and expresso, etc etc.....playing cards together till the wee hours of the morning. Homemade vino, anisette, sambuca, and other Italian cordials. the whole nine yards.

Mountains of presents lining the wall to the ceiling practically. It used to take like 2 hours or so for everybody to open their gifts. Lol

Then the next day? Christmas Day? Lol.... It would start all over again. I don't know how my grandmother, mom and aunts handled it all. But they did. Every single year for decades too. Wow!!

My wife and I have tried our best to keep those traditions going for our children, nieces and nephews. But the large family had is not the same as it was. So many loved ones have passed away.

So yes, Christmas time is a very magical time of the year for us. And I'm sure for you, and others who celebrate as well.

On another note, I wanna say THANK YOU for that nice compliment, and your good wishes toward me and mine. It is extremely refreshing for my partner Lisa and I to receive kind words regarding our work. It is always appreciated (believe me).

As they say, it is nice to be nice. To be able to give a compliment means that you are secure in yourself in who you are. The fact that you can extend good wishes and congratulatory words to another person shows that you've got a lot of class. So thank you! You have "true" Christmas spirit.

We've got a lot more stories, bios, and podcasts coming out real soon. I hope you enjoy them. In fact Lisa is putting the finishing touches on a podcast of ours that is based on a biography I wrote about Joseph (Joe Scootch) Indelicato. He was a dyed-in-the-wool Gambino soldier who migrated to South Florida years back. I think you'll get a kick out of it.

Check out Genovese capo Ciro Perrone's podcast in the meantime ok pal? TTYS
