Is Joe Watts a rat?

Anyone heard this? A friend of mine said he did a proffer with the feds in '95. I was stunned. A bit confused because the man has done so many years in prison and is STILL in prison.

A proffer is a “ testing the waters” type thing. Sometimes guys/ lawyers do it just to get a hint of what the feds have as far as evidence or strategy. Thats basically what Gotti Jr did and no arrests resulted.
Both he and gotti jr did a lot of prison time so they certianly never coughed up anything valuable and both had tons of info they could have given.
None of those two took the stand or wore a wire. Alite went full blown rat.

John Gotti Jr definitely ratted. the fact thatt people question that is extraordinary. He even mentioned Joe Watts and Danny Marino by name and named them in crimes

capeci wrote a article about it. then he had to write a full retraction early 00's. think it was just a rumor. he was back around after he got out for the first 10yr bid. cause he had the best lawyers and they worked out a plea deal with alot of coverage, that gets people suspect. it didnt work anyway they got him on another old murder years later

If he and his attorney participated in a proffer and the prosecution decided the information provided was not worth it to them to make any deal the "proffer" legally doesn't exist and ANY information obtained in the proffer is not admissible and can not be used to further any investigation against anyone...period.

A lot of guys will "meet" with the FBI along with their defense attorney to hear what the feds have to say. That DOESN'T mean they intended to turn rat. Often times wiseguys will humor these feds to see where the feds are headed as far as their investigation goes. The guys try and glean whatever info may slip from a feds mouth. It's a cat and mouse game because the feds are trying to do the same thing.

The feds may label it a "Proffer" session, or hope it would be, but often times its all BS.

The government would of jumped at the chance of having a Gotti flip. Nothing Gotti Jr said resulted in any arrests and Gotti Jr could have wiped out the entire family. He didnt.
Alite testified in court against multiple people which is fine but Alite tries to imply Gotti jr’s proffer that resulted in no arrests somehow equates to the level of what Alite did and thats ridiculous. I have nothing against Alite except he always brings up Gotti Jr. why the fuck does he always do that, it diminishes his credibility. Alite was locked up in a Brazilian prison and im sure the conditions were horrible. Almost every guy would of flipped under those circumstances.

Alite is a rat like Gotti Jr. I dislike them both immensely. Haha I think Alite only brings up Gotti Jr so much is because the Gotti camp had that anti Alite campaign flooding every forum like a bunch of retards at Chuck E Cheese. Where is Kasparoza these days? haha the only thing I like about that rat Alite is he didn't tell half as many lies as Gotti Jr did. Bet he's still telling people Gene Gotti never sold drugs loll

Meeting with the FBI is stupid if youre in that life. If Joe Watts did that, he knows it was a stupid move. I don't consider him a rat, but it was a rat move

this capeci article came out probaly 95ish then he ran a big retraction. im betting thats where the rumor started. capeci was probaly fed wrong info for some reason. probaly pressure joe into flipping he took what 12 yrs the forst time and this last time 14 and the feds were trying to take everything he owned

he will be out in halfway house next week..also plenty out guys who were C.I. s go to prison..
