I remember watching the documentary about that undercover operation. If I remember correctly, wasn't the ex cop beat up by several wiseguys in an alleyway which fuelled his hatred towards them? This happened long before the undercover stint I believe.

It was Joey Ricciardi and a two others. Michael T ordered it.
Pee Wee took over Andy’s crew. Pee Wee lived on a corner off belleville avenue. The house still has the high bushes that surround the back yard,
It was in Belleville.
As an aside, Michael P passed 2 weeks ago.

Yes, at one time they probably had close to a 1/3 of their official membership in NJ. Aside from the DeCavalcante's, IMO the Genovese had the closest thing to a resident sitting borgata based in NJ as well.

Many of their bosses, past and present were Jersey based, as well as top skippers. They always had 4-5 crews there as well. Big presence!

This is a good one! I can't get enough of the North Jersey mob, especially Richie the Boot's old crew.

That documentary was a good watch, but he's full of it...Nobody with young kids leaves a police, civil service job that covers their family's insurance...Plus this was no big bust...These guys all got slaps on the wrist

Can't blame Russel, he's just trying to make a buck like everybody else..
