The leader of the Pagans in the Bronx was gunned down on Saturday.

That's a possiblity. Times are tough and guys are needing to reach out further to make just as much. I wonder how if this man resisted and got killed for it. The NYPD is already throwing "gang war" out there but who knows.

The hairy monster in the Angels cut is Big Vinnie Girolamo. Here's a little background from an article discussing the Angels moving out of their long standing Clubhouse in NYC;

A mural and bronze plaque in the form of a leering skull can be found opposite, on the building accommodating the six closed-circuit security cameras trained on the facade of the Angel's lair, and memorizes Vincent "Big Vinny" Girolamo, a particularly ferocious and intimidating member of the Manhattan chapter. He distiguished himself in Angel annals on September 21, 1977, when he threw a 32-year-old Mary Ann Campbell to her death from the clubhouse roof as other members cheered him on. Before he could stand trial he died in 1979 from a ruptured spleen suffered during a fight with a fellow Angel in Oakland, California.

Their new hq was shot up in January also in the Bronx.

Whats the story with Big Vinnie Girolamo's death? Was there any retribution and anyone know the story surrounding the fight with another HA?

Is the guy Puerto Rican? I read they also have a chapter over there.

I would not count the Ching-A-Ling Nomads out. Hollander, he supposedly came up through the CALN like Chuck Zito did, the Pagans have a chapter down there in PR.

HA are in DR. Lots of clubs in PR but the Pagans are the only one of the big four with a chapter there. The other clubs get invites there from the local clubs.

Christie does tend to relate stories in such a way that he comes out in a favorable light. As with most criminal recollections,they're fun to read, but not always 100% unbiased.
