Ive been reading about Camorra clans, the Calabrians, and the Sicilians & what I ask myself is how do they evade the law for so long?

italian le are not like in the us so it's harder for them to catch them
+ native italians are a lot more tougher then the american italians so it's hard to turn them to informant and to catch them

It could also be that targeting and killing members of the State (ie. Cops, Judge, Prosecutors, Mayors, Priest, whatever challenges them), isn’t necessarily frowned on.

North America, maybe in Prohibition or before. I think a young Galante shot cops 👮‍♀️. I think Scarfo had a Mayor murder, Mom Boucher had a couple screws murdered. Wolf Carrol was part of that Nomad Chapter, and has been a fugitive for over 20yrs, I think.

I think LE knows there is consequences in Italy at some level, and the guys in NA, cannot/will not go to that level for obvious reasons.

In Southern Italy they still control territories people depend on them when the State is absent. The Italian government is mostly powerless to intervene, although progress is being made. But as long mafia bosses have connections to the elites it will be a continuing fight.

The Elite (Orsini, Medici, Sforza, Maximus) have all been linked to multiple time Prime Minister Sylvio Burlesconi, his is also from Milan, and owned AC Milan.

Burlesconi has been linked to CN, since Leggio. Peter Orsini is often referred to as the Grey Pope, White Pope is the Catholic, Superior General of Jesuits is Black Pope, apparently.

The google, has a pic of Orsini, Pope Benedict and Superior General of Jesuits

It wouldn’t be surprising if they all are blooded together via P2.

Also they now keep a much lower profile without the violence, murders from the past. Even the Camorra has been quiet lately. Only Puglia is very violent with attacks almost every week. That will change though if the State comes to grip with them.

The mafia has been ingrained in the minds of the people for hundreds of years. It’s just how life was/is.

Connections to secret services, freemasonry, corrupt police and corrupt politicians. Sicily is a small island and u see people being on the run for 20 years or more.

Stato-Mafia trial that is going on right now, 4 witnesses disappeared from witness protection program, they all claimed there is super-cupola formed by politicians, mafia bosses, secret service and freemasonry members. Also the total control of territory, mentality of people and so on.

In the past there was P2 lodge , heads of all 3 secret services were members, along with president of vatican bank etc. They can protect and keep anyone hidden if they want to.

Matteo Messina Denaro's father Francesco Messina Denaro was never caught,he started his mafia career as armed guard for D'Ali family , they were owners of Banco Sicula , biggest private bank in Sicily , Antonio D'Alì Sr. was a member of P2. His son Antonio D'Alì Jr. became a senator for Silvio Berlusconi's Forza Italia party and then in April 2001 under-secretary at the Ministry of the Interior, the institution responsible for fighting organised crime. His cousin Giacomo D’Alì is a counsellor of the Banca Commerciale Italiana in Milan. Antonino D'Alì who is senator was pictured meeting with mafia members in 2018. They are very well connected to elites in Italy as Hollander said.

Vito Genovese, while avoiding America LE, was like the dark prince with El Duce, Benito Mussolini. I believe he was up North in Italy and Charlie Luciano lived in Naples until his death, after exile.

Both Genovese and Luciano were born in Southern Italy. Genovese in Naples, Luciano in Sicily, both I think were 5 Point as well.

Lucky disapproved of Genovese's business with the fascists.

They persecuted them, that caused the second wave of Italian immigrants in the late 20s-30s

Cool, ok, I thought maybe Luciano had personal reasons. Some reason, I figured he wouldn’t of care about Mussolini/Fascist doing that, rather, just focused on business and getting back to America.

The fascists als banned and prosecuted freemasonry, Il Duce knew they were a threat to his power.

Simple the South Italy was always poor and before the 1980s the Italian State wasn't more present and in some areas the ndrangheta, camorra, mafia or Sacra Corona Unita are the other state that control the territory, can find you a job and so on plus if a clan die suddently a another clan take his place with an other names but is the same shit.
In some areas there are a refuse to the state even with the language that is the dialect and not the italians, the couples make sons at young age in some cases under age because the boys know that they risk to die young and watch the 30 y old like the other people look at the old men.

some northern italian regions like veneto were poor in the past but they never developed mafia-type organizations, the problem is that this kind of crime is interwined with the unification of italy, freemasons, garibaldi, ministers etc. it's an historic and endemic problem, not just criminal
