That kid used to be with the Gambinos, but he asked to be released so he can go to work for the Philly guys.

Interesting fucken Philly the only one bringing in a stranger that is so young that if hit with 50 years is almost a guaranteed flip .

I was told by a friend That’s an associate & is being groomed by a captain that he switched because there’s too much competition in the Gambino Family to be made, he didn’t wanna wait the 10+ years they make you wait.

the brooklyn guys who got made in the decav family were treated like second class citizens . also think the higher ups in the gambino family will stop it like nick corozzo told the decav family they could no loner induct nyc guys

Apparently he’s tight with Joey Merlino as you can see from the videos how he’s basically his bodyguard

The 27-year-old Tuccio reportedly has links to both the Gambino and Lucchese crime families. He is the nephew of Lucchese family capo Joseph DeSena.

Figured it was cause there’s less competition/maybe easier to get a button.

Very strange. Although Philly did make a NY guy before - John Praino in the Bronx.

Re: Mob Talk Sitdown 37 - 01/22/20 02:55 PM

with all the snitches and turncoats although most seem to be fairly minor so far, why would you allow a stranger into the philly family and how could you ever really trust this guy; when most of the people in Philly/Jersey are related or grew up together and know one another their whole life. I mean does this kid think he will be the boss one day? Also how or why would joey just take this guy in or did Joey get paid a few dollars for this?

Re: Mob Talk Sitdown 37 - 01/22/20 04:07 PM

The kid's uncle is a Lucchese capo, and Joey is tight with the Pernas. So maybe Joey has known him for a while and likes him. He must trust him.

I saw George Borgesi and Anthony Accardo talking to another guy today, aren't those two supposedly legitimate these days? I never bought into that so and so looks a psychopath or they got eyes of a killer, but Borgesi looks like one evil guy.

I was told about Tuccio late summer 2019 but these are his exact words “you see that guy Peter Tuccio? He used to run with the Gambinos but switched to Philadelphia because over here, it takes 10+ years of association to become a made guy. And it Philadelphia it takes around 5-9 years and you don’t have to earn or do as much as you have to over here.” He also told me about some beef between the Sicilian of the Gambinos & Joey Merlino. And I’ve asked about him & some other guy that tells me stuff here & there and it’s all been true.

Not exactly on topic but related....I wonder about the Gambino Sicilian kid that got pinched that has the Espresso shop and pizza joint in Northern Liberties in Philadelphia. Gotta wonder did the Philly guys know he was there or did he just set up shop? Somebody told me that he also purchased a commercial property in South Philly that is right next to a major Philly guys house. If that's a coincidence that's fucking wild.

Anthony Accardo I know nothing about...… but Borgesi ..that stupid fuck..I ripped his ever changing baseball cap right off his head during a heated exchange back in 1987 , right in front of Faffy , because he was siding w/ Tory Scafidi over throwing my clothing stand @ Broad & McKean st. ….I'll never forgive or forget that weasel..he didn't do shit b-cause they both knew my old man was w/ Scarfo...Fuck George...

@ barracuda — Perhaps that’s the beef Shellackhead mentioned that Merlino allegedly has with the Sicilians. I wouldn’t be surprised if the zips didn’t ask permission to the local guys.

Funny you bring up caps, because he was wearing a hat that was at least two sizes too big, looked goofy as hell.

Borgesi ALWAYS wears baseball hats and I have never seen him wear the same baseball hat twice.

The guys house must have over 1k baseball hats, wonder how he stores them- I have a hard time storing my extensive baseball hat collection.

I have never seen him not wearing a baseball hat in person. I know theres pictures and videos of him not wearing a baseball hat when hes in court or out at a restaurant.

Re: Mob Talk Sitdown 37 - 01/24/20 02:22 AM

Merlino must be well respected across the usa in the lcn circle and he isnt that in your face he doesnt do interviews. Look at the boss in buffalo he invites every cameraman his way. He gives a soundbite after leaving federal court that really isnt to much and hes barely says a thing. He does give george a a quick thing or 2. And if you notice george kinda takes his side on the last case or 2 almost like a mouthpiece

Never knew him as a adult but as a kid he always always had one on even at beach.

Also he was wearing them with matching sweatshirts way way before it was a thing . We where wearing Flia jogging suits and he was wearing the caps and sweatshirts and pants like the black kids did before the Caucasian guys did and he would take heat.

hey I been reading these forums for sometime . again where did that come from? you can tell you are all drunken bs.. and a very ignorant man and probably gonna come back with a 16 yr old tirade.. georgie porgie would of kicked you behind so bad, your love for these fools and acardo would of dried up. You act like these are so tough.... but You wupeed one.? I think u are just like dom bakery belly grande 5'6''. 270+... and he gets his windows smashed up, did nothing.. silence... he not liked by somebody.. he never did nothing.? now that kinda stuff would never happen to bent finger.. no body gonna mess with him. untouched or unmessed with 3+ years.. just like ron previte he is right in duck town and no body gonna do bleep squat. jonnie boy calverri aint gonna do diddley chris delbarkio aint gonna do diddley baldy bannanno aint gonna do diddley.. zambino is still a hs boy. I forget the other new guys. I had to say that ,they all play that accardo look. if some taliban soldier was coming after them, their under shorts would be yellow in the front brown in the back..

Little Grumpy at 3:00 am

Any way this guy from NY with all these connections has befriended Skinny and is try to get in Philly family ? He is just leaving his blood behind or is he going to operate out of NY under Philly ?

Wondering what Skinny is getting out of this ..... for sure he is not doing nothing for nothing.

There are three certain things in life:

death

taxes

and the fact that Skinny doesn’t do nothin’ for nothin’

So Grumpy you should get your facts right unless your were drinking and have amnesia. Ron Previte died I'm almost positive of that. And your not thinking right if you think Dom isnt doing the right thing by not retaliating while the feds are up his ass every day. They are just waiting to pounce on him.

Yeah and when he was alive he was not a Ducktown guy ! ( not saying he didn’t try a couple things there ) He over stated his worth and not to pounce on the dead but he actually carried a picture of Stanfa and would show people, and his quote was this is my boss as he would show the photo !

If you have to carry a picture of a crime boss to get your point across well let’s just say you are a cop not a made guy and can anyone tell me any big rackets he was involved with that doesn’t come out of his mouth ?

The kid Tuccio did not hook up with merlino because of the Perna’s. They had absolutely nothing to do with it.
I have no idea how the hell Tuccio got hooked up with Merlino. There is obviously a reason. Merlino may have ingratiated himself with the Gambino’s while in prison or maybe at his former restaurant, who friggin knows. Maybe Merlino was staying in New York for the trial and as a courtesy the Gambino’s sent a low level associate to be Merlino’s taxi service. Thats what i am thinking.
That would not be far fetched. You guys are friends of ours and you are in our town/ territory, we will take care of you.what if a gambino was on trial in detroit, maybe one of their guys would be assigned to look out for him. One of those things.

Re: Mob Talk Sitdown 37 - 02/04/20 03:54 PM

Yaeh seems probaly correct. The youngs guys people let him be the taxi guy but now with thevpicyures and videos of him an merlino they want to flip the kid or give him a smoke plea deal. Gonna get numbers just for being around merlino
