Hells Angels new Bronx headquarters shot up - 01/04/20 04:39 AM

The new Hells Angels clubhouse in the Bronx was shot up overnight by a group of unknown people on motorcycles hours after news reports announcing their move were published, police and reports said Friday.

Sometime around 10:35 p.m., police responded to the former American Legion Post building on Longstreet in Throggs Neck and found 14 shell casings littering the property, cops said.

They determined “several shots” were fired and the building was damaged but couldn’t provide further details.

The notorious biker gang just sold their longtime East Village headquarters back in March and only recently moved into the building, much to their neighbors’ chagrin, NBC News reported.

“Who wants to live next to them? They’re not called the angels from heaven or the community angels or the guardian angels,” Alejandro Coban told the outlet just hours before the shooting.

“No, they’re called Hells Angels!”

Both News 12 Bronx and NBC published stories about the move, and the neighbors’ grievances, hours before the shooting.

An email to the Angels wasn’t immediately returned.

I'm in Florida almost full time now but that's not far from my house. That's right in between Country Club and Locust Point. A shit ton of the older wiseguys still live in that neighborhood. It's right off the water. My Pop, God rest his soul, used to drink in that American Legion all the time. And even though I didn't serve in the military, so it really isn't right, I've been there a thousand times. My Dad was a Korean War Vet and a neighborhood staple forever, so they always looked the other way when I'd come get him. I'd sit and bullshit and have a beer or two. Anyway, I knew it was gonna be trouble. And like I say, I'm down here almost full time now and I'm glad I don't have to deal with it. But my son and one of my daughters still live in the house, so when I hear things like this it concerns me. Years ago they would have gotten chased out. Not even. They wouldn't have gotten the chance to open. But times have changed. I doubt anyone is gonna bother even trying. And even if they did, those guys don't scare easily.

"Footage from a neighbor's surveillance camera, posted to a local Community Board Facebook group, appears to show several shots ringing out, as a procession of motorcyclists ride along the residential street."

Would love to see the video; however it looks like the helpful neighbor came to their senses and deleted it.

My local VFW was right near the building where I used to work and knew the commander...Once in a while a couple of us would go in...Nobody had a problem with us being in there...Couldn't beat drinks for $1.50....But that's going back a ways !!

The HA probably know who did it, any major rival clubs over there? Pagans?

The Pagan’s Motorcycle Club is expanding in record numbers. Here’s why N.J. officials are worried

Pagan’s are as heavy as they have ever been just out side of the shore towns of Atlantic City.

My wife keeps her horses just ten twelve miles outside of Longport and on that road there are several with some pretty nice spreads each have five to ten acre spread and unlike back in 70’s and 80’s when most Pagans worked for someone or didn’t work at all mostly dealing for cash. But now they have business HVAC or Electrical business. PAUL P the old south Jersey president is on that road living in his deceased fathers place ( his dad was postmaster) and he is in the HVAC business.

They seam to be settling down with legit income to possibly feed that other more profitable side business because around here the small business is thriving again and they are able to do a lot of cash jobs and the ones they cannot keeps it all legit .

But they are not your old biker type always riding together and riding to each other’s house instead using regular cars and trucks and trust me back in the day you took your bike everywhere.

So they are growing in numbers and blending in and many in the Pine Barrens just ten miles out of AC many of those spots were huge in the meth days and still are owned by same families. In EHT one big cook was at English Creek ave.and Zion road in 70’s ,and that purple stuff spread all over the place . That cat got busted lost everything.

The National President's name is actually Conan 13, the number signals he was a member of the Pagans mother club.

No news? The Pagans and 81 hate each other.

Could be like Ontario HA and OLMC, the Clubs are supposedly blood enemies, as well. Apparently, they have been at war for over 40 years.

HA has opened up in Michigan, which is typically Outlaw.

Don't worry about that man, hell I've been going to our VFW from 15 until about 25 on and off for turkey shoots, pool tournaments and just to drink and bullshit. A lot of the old timers enjoy the company as long as you're not raising hell in there
