Mafia homes/mansions - 10/22/19 12:33 AM

What are some of the nicest houses that are/were owned by gangsters? Casso had a really nice house. I can see why people wouldn’t like it because it is very awkward looking but it is huge.

There is also a former Colombo member who has a huge yacht. Not a house but it is so big that it might as well be one.

Carmine has a sprawling river rock ranch on the farm as they call it , it’s close to 80ft. full basement the front porch is the length of the house and 15-18 ft. out . Place is tucked on the foothills of Catskills. The main house out front is now Tudor style but it was the original barn on the property and when remodeled the fist floor and still is for cars they have four or so cars in there all antique and a 30ft. bar in the card room there also . The upstairs is for the help on the farm.

Lil Allie boy had house to the left . and Allie Carmine’s brother has the house behind the old barn and Teddyhas the house behind that and there is more relatives houses on the farm .

Two more barns were built one in 70’s and another in 90 ish maybe 88 ? but that barn is so nice you can have a wedding in it and there have been many.

All of it can be seen with a little investigating . It’s onnly been since Michael remodeled his mother’s and fathers place and has been letting it be used for events these past few years , because before that photos where very rare but you can find them now. But not of some of the houses are not in photos only ones used for events are.

Brooklyn houses are nice all the family blood have nice property shit Michael owns half of Saugerties and not just him Italians like it there couple Gambino’s own up there also.

Not even close to $5 Million, Mill Basin is not that hot, way out of the way, surrounded by undesirable neighborhoods

Park Slope, now that's hot, but you'll pay double what you would in Mill Basin for the same Sq footage

I know you’re a philly guy, Scarfo had a mansion in Fort Lauderdale didn’t he? I’m not sure how big it is but I recall someone calling it a mansion.

All that gasoline tax money that Franzese gave him lmao. Albert Anastasia’s house was nice. Located in New Jersey.

Of course Castellano’s house was a bona fide mansion. Mafia bosses in Italy have very expensive flats and houses as well.

Here is a massive mansion that I found. The article says it was owned by someone in the mafia but I’ve never heard of him.

That’s a real palace. I’m not sure how desirable the location is. But it’s a nice looking house.

Here is a house owned by John. He owned the Brooklyn mansion that I posted the link to in my second to last post. It is said he is(or was) allegedly a Colombo family soldier but I don’t think so. If he is then he’s clearly taken his business to a level that no other gangster has been able to.

Re: Mafia homes/mansions - 10/24/19 12:07 AM

him and the other rich guy are members. persicos inducted them in the early 80tys. greg scarpa was telling on them way back. when little vic tried to take them as his own in 1990 it caused alot of problems. may have even started the colombo war or was a reasoning factor. you cant say there name on here cause of deformation or whatever that word is

Re: Mafia homes/mansions - 10/24/19 09:39 PM

I didn’t know that. Surprised I never heard of them. They used their alleged mob connections to get to where they are at today and went legit? That’s impressive. I am sure a lot of mobsters who tried to do what they did are jealous. The Colombos had these massive earners like Franzese, and possibly these 2 guys yet they weren’t really a top crime family like the Gambinos and Genoveses. Their top 3 earners are probably richer than any gangsters who ever lived.

Dining room table inside one of Tony Accardo's mini-mansions in River Forest, Illinois. He's seated upper left. Funny how that little tv built into the wall above the fireplace was state of the art at one time. And probably expensive as hell.

Here is Frank Matthews house. Not a mafiosi but was a rival of the mafia. Wish I could find some better pictures but it looks like a hell of a house.

Salerno was living lavish then. The interior must have been something.
