They had his fingerprint on a car rental form that was used in the Siefert murder. And the wife knew his voice. If they'd have whacked the whole family he'd have likely never been convicted. They had mercy and let her and the kid live. Plus then the rat testified in the Family Secrets trial. He was a stand up guy. RIP

Yawn, you know god forgives everyone. If he repented he still could be going upstairs. You know the guys that got whacked weren't exactly clean themselves, they were dealing with the devil and knew it.

So the kid was named Joe in honor of Lombardo? Seemed like a pretty lame case against Lombardo. A partial palm print on title application of the getaway car? Being denied a separate trial from the other defendants in that "Family Secrets" trial where Calabrese was the star rat? Wonder how long he could have made it on the lam if he didn't have that abscessed tooth and went to see Tony Spilotro's brother who was a dentist who dropped a dime on him. Did he have enough $$$ squirreled away that he could have lived off the radar to 90?
