And there are good possibilities that he would be declared insane?
The Gambino will try to kill him?

That case will drag out for years furio 3 4 yrs there defense is mental health. These cases dragg forever. Different doctor opinions ect.

like pmac says, they're probably gonna try to trot out a bunch of doctors and make it a mental health thing but the "insanity defense" like you see on tv hardly ever really happens in reality. if the kid doesn't plea there will be a long trial and he'll be found guilty anyway.

First of all Cali was not an boss, second they are not going to kill him ,maybe let someone in prison do it but doubt it , that would generate huge heat on them and feds will wipe them out.

Cali was underboss and was pretty isolated from everyone,he met with few people , avoided almost all meetings and was really paranoid about going to prison. theyll be arguing is he mentaly fit for trial for years. the prosecutor will bring out there doctors then the defense will bring out his. the judge will rule then theyll appeal the ruling. muddy up the waters on and on. i think if cali"s family is so anti government that when they call call the cali family to tell them whats going on with the trial and they dont hear any thing back or the cali family doesnt pick up the phone, they might offer comello a sweet deal just to get the case off the books. he has a great lawyer. i bet he wants to settle the case, end of the day you think the staten island DA really wants justice for calis family even if he was a non violent underboss that just had others do his dirty work.

You have a very unrealistic view of what the mob is in 2019, there used to be squads in the FBI for each family, each squad had 20 agents, now you don't even have 20 total for all five families, they know the end is near.

I tend to agree with everyone who says that the Gambinos will probably not do anything to Comello. But young guys in the jail who are not mob connected but would like to be might do something crazy on their own. I am sure Comello will be in protective custody for whatever that is worth.

Sicilians in New York are not 80 years old , they are huge in construction , very powerful and have a lot of money , they are the real mafia over there , a lot of them are unknown or not made into any of 5 families. But they are doing great right now , pretty much under the radar , they are not going to risk it everything over some nuts dude.
