Not trying to get my head ripped off here.....but is there even a shred of truth to anything he says? I mean anyone can sound persuasive, but if all this is made up, how tf does he feel like it? Can't be selling that many books.

From what ive heard Gene was pretty well respected. He was actually made a year before John was. Ive read that the Gotti brothers had fights but nothing about associates smacking gene around

Ive read gene was a street guy. Tough with his hands. If i remember correct alite says he had a conversation in prison with gene because gene smacked some guy from the gambinos around. Now thats what he said in his book. Now 5 or 10yrs later hes changing the story around again. This guy is full of shit. He may be the worst attention whore rat of all time and there list is long and terrible...

You need to read that book again. He does indeed talk about slapping Gene in that book. The story has never changed. Whether this actually happened or not is anyone's guess, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did. Alite was around all of those guys. Why are all these high-level witnesses like Sammy Gravano and Mikey Scars telling people he was far from a nobody if he actually was a nobody? I'm no fan of John Alite or any rat for that matter, but I do know that what he has said is much closer to the truth than what John Jr. would want you to believe. I read both of their books. One has facts on his side and the other has Chris Kasparoza.

I don't remember. Can't find any of it since I've been blocked since around 2013/14. I remember commenting on one of his posts about his Albanian heritage, he responded quite agressively acting all tough. Not so friendly for a 'reformed' criminal.

With all the constant tension between the gottis and alite does anyone think it will ever boil over to where someone get hurt? I mean if you really think about it this shit is fuckin deep. Aren't the Gotti's still involved with the Gambino's, having made guys bearing their name? If so, why didn't Alite get hit already? It really makes me wonder. Why aren't they doing anything against guys like Gravano and Alite? Who're out and "smiling"

I understand why gotti jr hates alite as he was actively trying to get him life in prison (a legitimate reason as any for anyone to hate someone) but why does alite hate and constantly provoke gotti?

And I’ve watched loads of his interviews. My view is that the all of the high level stuff (talking with gotti sr, slapping gene, dealings with any capos etc) is complete and utter BS, but he is talking truth about the low level stuff he done with associates etc like lil assaults he done on associates.

End of the day the guy is just trying to make a living. He was obviously a low level failure at the OC stuff but he has finally found his calling as a media gangster. couldn't agree more, just an all around lying scumbag. its beyond me how so many people have interviewed him, with just a little research a lot of what he claims can be dispelled. and what can't be dispelled by actual paperwork and transcripts should be pretty easily dispelled by common sense. as many interview rounds and the book deal hopefully he's moved out of his son's apartment. I might be mistaken but didn't one of his sons turn on him in recent years and is working with the one guy that posts here and junior gotti now? so maybe he was kicked out.

A lot of them seem to say that. I think Caramandi may have been sincere but, for the most part, I think they're full of shit. What I think they mean is that they miss the life and that they regret getting caught. But a rat is a rat. If you could take them back in time, they'd take the stand all over again (in my opinion).
