Organize crime : Other then Italians

Why are the Albanians not gaining ground over the Italian families ? Also the asians with the population so huge ? African Americans same deal with the amount of people.

The Albanians are born into the life over there , even if they aren’t they are because it’s shoved down there throat growing up over there .

The Asians have the Secret society thing going behind them and even if not in the life they are extremely faithful and will keep there mouth shut and even the old will always look the other way.

Blacks little different but still will stick together to a point .

But none of them are gaining to the point of the Italians not only that they are not pushing them out in NY or other areas .

Is it that these groups are not living the life of crime ? because they all are blowing up in population The Albanians probably been at least in numbers but the most in organize crime in North East .

I am up there now headed into my late 60’s so I am not making new friends especially in the life especially from these groups.

But someone has to get the money on the street, because we all know there is a fortune to be made out there .

The things with the italians is that their organisation have a long history in europe and also outside of europe.
In the US and Canada, the italians, the jews and the irish started this crime orgnisation in the new world. They began as a small organization, but were doing criminal stuff, when the criminal justice ws not prepare for this type of organisation.
Also, the mass immigration of italians and irish in many american countries, made it easier for criminal groups to work inside of their community, without people going to the police.

I dont know much about the albanians, but to surpass the italians, its not only about strenght in the streets. You nost also surpass them with their connection in the drug trade, the politics, the economy, the justice system etc.
An Italian from Hamilton for exemple, could have a political connection in bangladesh, because of a family member (ok for bangladesh but you get the point).
All organized crime groups got connections, but the connections of the italians are very deep and sometime goes a long way.

Nicky Barnes created in the 1970s The Council that was a commission type organization but formed by the biggest black drug traffickers;what was it end? Barnes girlfriend had an affair with another Council member and Barnes flips and bye bye Council.

The Italians ever maintained the ties with the old country and ever had strong political connections that the other groups don't have.

Plus black,asiatics and albanians prefer to stay in the hoods while the mob continue to exist even if little italies doesnt exist anymore.

I understand the history.....I grew up around it from Nucky Johnson - Nicky Scarfo and more.

I also understand the connections that are fading quickly for Italians . But I don’t understand why these other groups with the amount of people they have in America and the constant flow of people from there home country are not gaining ground .

It makes no sense that the Albanians are not gaining on LCN they know the game they know the players and they must be able to get there own connections after all these years and same with the asians .


Both Albanians and Asians have everything going for them and the Albanians have an edge because they are Caucasian and can mix easily into any part of crime without people giving them a second look , they can easily get into blue collar or white collar crime.

the italian criminal groups te ne to remain criminally involved even when became very rich, they mantain the old tradition... other groups included chineses (despite they also have a old criminal tradition) are not anymore invokved when become rich and don't mantain the organization, boss like messina denaro are still involved although billionaire
