^^^^ “A prominent last name stood out on the list of those charged. Cosimo Commisso, 74, is accused, along with relatives, of conspiracy to commit municipal corruption in relation to what OPP Acting Chief Superintendent Karl Thomas described as an attempt to influence a decision on an approved use for a commercial property in relation to a cannabis facility.â€

With all these arrests, rival clans may take advantage of this opportunity to move in and create more violence in the streets of Toronto and other locations.

Maybe with good lawyer they're probably going to get off or get minimal sentences. What I am concerned is with all these traffickers off the streets others would want to move in on their turfs but it is just speculation on my part. Nice to hear from you again Cabrini !

Attilio Commisso and Salvatore Boccia are said to be childhood friends. Girolamo Commisso is a new name for me. Giovanni Commisso has been around since the 80s, he was involved in a Diesel theft of some kind like two decades ago. I also recall not to long ago he was arrested for something else, it around the fall time right before Halloween after 2016.

Cigarettes are a big thing. It's the city, county, state taxes that they try to avoid which makes the cigarettes cheaper. You can make a small fortune with a few guys that way. Buy them cheap in the south from like North Carolina, transport them north to like New York and bam, you make a nice profit after your overhead especially in large quantities and if you do it right.

The Satan's Choice MC hitman Cecil Kirby who worked for Cosimo Commisso in Canada from 1976–81 wrote in his 1986 autobiography Mafia Enforcer: "Cosimo wasn't tough-he was homicidal. He'd kill you as soon as you were looking at him if he thought you were crossing him, if he thought it was good for business, or if he thought you insulted him or his family. The lives of other people meant nothing to him".

Interesting they went from Crips to Bloods.
Also formerly known as the Darkside Crips in the late 90s and Chester Le Bloods in the mid 2000's, this street gang originates from the Chester Le housing projects in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. In mid to late 2005 due to the many altercations with other crips, they had decided to rename themselves to the Chester Le Crew whilst adopting the blood moniker. They are involved in the street level distribution of narcotics, extortion, car theft and are known to be heavily armed. Their main rivals are the Glendower Crips, the Guilty Crime Posse and the Parma Court Posse. They have also shown to be hostile to the Galloway Boys, this following the 2012 Danzig BBQ mass shooting perpetrated by a feud between Folorunso Owuso of Chester Le and members of the Galloway Boys. Their allies include members of the Malvern Crew and the ABG. In the summer of 2019, Toronto Police led "Project Kraken" after four years of investigating the Chester Le Crew's fentanyl operation where almost 80 people were arrested on a list of 600 charges, those arrested are either from Chester Le or directly associated with the group.
