Tomasso Buscetta Netflix Doc - 06/13/19 02:43 PM

Coming in September there will be a documentary airing on Netflix about the life and crimes of Tomasso Buscetta. The creators managed to track down Buscetta's wife and last living son in Florida and ultimately convinced them to partake in their film. One of the best mafia books I ever read was The Last Days of The Sicilians and it gave a really in depth look into who he was and his relationship with Gaetano Badalamenti who was more than likely responsible for the death/disappearance of atleast one of Buscetta's sons in Sicily. He was one of the more interesting Sicilian cooperators imo.

This looks really good and get Netflix but never know when things are on it other than word of mouth or seeing something posted.

Keep us updated if you can when you see it come on and I will be on the lookout.

With so much money, they do not appear to be too worried about advertising a lot of their content. Only the top earning shows. They let the public dictate what should get the spotlight. Has advantages and disadvantages I suppose.

I finally finished it the other night. Great watch. Really enjoyed the part where him and Riina are sitting next to eachother and going at it in court.

Just watched. Very good. Crazy how they hide them in plain site. Im guessing north Miami is a latino area but busetta must have drove across town to the Italian spots. Just imagine fat joe massino holding court at a Italian restaurant in new mexico like some say or Arizona. And boy did they slaughter his family. The guy in the maxi trial who was friends with his brother and says tomas you ran away with a new girl leaving a son n jail n 1 on drugs. Then busettas like wat about you killing licata and the guys face is like fuckkkk

There court trial style is so different then here. Like buscetta just talking about whatever he wants bringinh up any old shit. Talking about morals. That maxi trial was a fucking circus. I need a 2 hr doc on that. Like did anyone get bail cause theres alot of guys in the cages. Is there really 475 guys on trial at 1 time. No one took a plea deal, do they do plea deals over there. Puts my brain in a pretzel so not American

I am sure it was extremely difficult becoming an informant but when the bosses make rules for underlings to follow, then break them themselves, they leave no option.
