Looks like it also stars Don Johnson from Miami Vice, Theo Rossi from Sons of Anarchy, Samira Wiley from Handmaid's Tale, Vinny Pastore, William Forsythe from Once Upon a Time in America, and Burt Young. Decent cast, not sure about how good it'll be from the trailer though.

read the book instead: The Last Good Heist: The Inside Story of the Biggest Single Payday in the Criminal History of the Northeast

Wittiness reported after the guys left they went into the vault and there was so much money, gold and coins left on the floor they couldn't even imagine what they had taken if what they saw on the floor was the spoils.

Rumor was Ray Sr OK'd it as he had just gotten home from prison and was convinced while away he didn't get the appropriate amounts kicked up and this was him squaring the books.

Patriarca 1000% gave the order. He was locked up in Atlanta and thought he wasn’t getting what he was owed. They actually delayed the robbery by 24 hours so Patriarca’s son could get all his shit outta there.

Shampoo, I heard it was Nicholas Bianco and Albert Vitali who accompanied him.

Going to see this tomorrow night. Not a bad cast, but I thought they could of found someone better to play Gerard than Don Johnson. He doesn't fit the Northeast/New England bill at all. Esp to play a mob guy. IMO Gerard flies under the radar for who he really was when he was around.

Didn't care for the book maybe the screenplay was written better

The mob is full of screen worthy stories. Any boss ever is worth a movie even down to low level guys like Henry hill. The amount of murders prison time heartache money women feds make any story worthy. When reading certain autobiographies I always think if this was in a movie no one would believe it was true..

I was disappointed Scorsese’s chose that Irishman story. The amount of stories out there better then that are endless imo

Saw the movie tonight. Solid cast. But lacked alot. Disappointed. The best part of the Movie was seeing the old footage of Raymond walking around Providence.

I wouldn't mind giving this a try too. Is it in theaters or what?

I'm not too high on Johnson being Ouimette either.

We got it here in Providence a week early. Should be in theaters now. But it wasn't great. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it at all.
