Cool Ravenite footage - 04/19/19 09:05 PM

Not sure if anyone has seen this but I thought I would share it. I've never seen this footage and it's got a great 80's track supplementing the video as well as Pete Gotti and George Decicco at the end offering to buy the FBI ice cream. Enjoy. 1980's Ravenite

Re: Cool Ravenite footage - 04/19/19 09:13 PM

I kinda figured it was. I actually came across it looking for some old footage of the Ravenite. I was in NY in 1998 on vacation and they had just recently gutted the club. Out front was the dumpster filled with ripped out drywall so I took a piece for a keepsake. However I have no solid proof that it's actually from the Ravenite which sucks because I wrote John a Christmas card in 1999 and to my surprise, he wrote me back. I was hoping coupled with the autograph, maybe I'm sitting on a good chunk of change in the future. But it would be hard to part with it cuz it's pretty bad ass. lol

Good luck trying to sell that. Nobody would dish out big cash with no way to certify it, you better hope it ain't full of asbestos lol

I bet you could sell it. There’s a million gullible morons out there so it shouldn’t be hard. But like you said you should keep it for yourself.

Who's the 1st guy in the video getting out the Lincoln Towncar?

Is that Micheal DiLeonardo? Who ever he is; Guy has alot of swagger in walk. Just shows you these guys mentality.

Gotti had a certain swagger in his walk too; Check out the 1st clip him stepping over water and getting onto the sidewalk. 1:25-1:33 is the part of the video

He didn't look happy getting out his car. Seem like a guy not to be trifled with. He walks like a gangster.

Part of gottis walk was because of the accident he had when he was younger. A cement mixer rolled over his foot and he lost a tow or two. Thats why he had that bounce in his walk

He sounds like a gangster too. He’s the guy in all the Gotti documentaries saying ‘the whole city should be happy’ at the door of the ravenite after one of gotti’s acquittals.

This guy has all kinds of good shit on his channel. He has to have access to a video vault, this stuff is not VCR recorded as most of it is during the VCR era. They picked a good song to make the video feel even more doom and gloom too. I'd have to also say the dude with the recorder was pretty brave standing around like that. Even the old lady had him figured out.

Yes that is him.

Tore is the guy who Genovese Capo Patsy Parello slapped in the face for being disrespectful in Patsy’s restaurant up in the Bronx.

Later on Patsy’s son was shot and killed. It was rumored to be in revenge for him slapping the younger Locascio but I don’t think that was ever proven.

Re: Cool Ravenite footage - 04/24/19 01:47 AM

it wasnt proven in the court of law but i think the elder pat was still actively trying to kill the guy who shot his son. it came up in his last indictment. his crew was looking or asking around for the guy. i forgot the exact thing. i wonder if it has anything to do with why tore locascio is retired and lives in florida. i mean they say hes super rich. but you never know. his dads been in this fedral prison fort devens in massachusetts for like the last 20yrs

If I remember right the suspected shooter was Albanian and was later acquitted for it.

I wonder if tore was made when that incident happened

Re: Cool Ravenite footage - 04/24/19 02:29 AM

Re: Cool Ravenite footage - 04/24/19 02:31 AM

either puerto rican or albainian. i think patsy crew was reaching out to the albainians to get the shooter a few yrs ago. it was part of the last case i think or atleast it came up in the crews detention memo to keep them locked up as dangers

Re: Cool Ravenite footage - 04/24/19 05:43 PM

If I remember correctly Patsy's crew was really close to hitting the shooter, but LE got in the way.

Anyone have any background on Norman Dupont? The guy in the fila windbreaker tracksuit? I know he was kind of the caretaker at the Ravenite and is locked up for murder?

How did he get involved?

Re: Cool Ravenite footage - 05/03/19 05:07 PM

DuPont was an associate and caretaker of the Ravenite. He's doing life for murdering a civilian who wasn't involved in the streets.

His son drowned with some others back in 2008. The authorities wouldn't let him attend the funeral of his son. Sad story, but hey, don't kill random civilians.

Also, he was apparently the nephew of Nettie Cirelli, who's husband was a Gambino soldier. She lived in an apartment above the Ravenite which Gotti used for his meetings, which the FBI bugged and recorded the infamous tapes.

I was always curious how a guy named Dupont ended up being the caretaker of the Ravenite lol. He had to have some sort of family connection to the building/neighborhood. Which would make sense.
