Question on McBratney Hit

Question on McBratney Hit - 03/25/19 01:36 PM

I just saw the Travolta Gotti movie this weekend (was NOT a fan), and in it Gotti was represented as killing McBratney. In the Gotti movie with Armand Assante, it said one of Paul Castellano's men who went in on the hit killed McBratney.

Does anyone know if Gotti actually killed McBratney?

Junior Gotti said in that documentary godfather and son that his father pulled the trigger in that hit.

I don’t know if I believe that. I still think it was Ralphie ‘wigs’ Galione who shot him

Ralph Galione was a associate of the Bergin crew. Gotti NEVER pulled the trigger Galione did which is why Gotti got such a light sentence. Junior is full of shit. What happened was galione gotti and angelo went to snoopes acting like cops and McBratney laughed in ther face. Gotti and Angelo grabbed him but McBratney dragged them down the bar where the finally pinned him against the wall where Galione finally shot him. Galione was not in Pauls crew and he was most likely not murdered by gotti. The gotti movie is entertaining but inaccurate

Even that one im not sure is true. Vito borelli was killed in 75 but gotti went away to prison for the McBratney hit that year so I doubt he would risk or be able to do a hit

All true. I read somewhere that Galione was killed about a year later in a dispute with a loan shark.

Yup. December 1973 I believe. The whole hit was such a mess. I laugh when i see it portrayed as Gotti being the smart one and galione fucking it up. In reality all 3 of those clowns messed up that hit lol
