They had him on the FBI’s ten most wanted, so he was probably being hidden by people in his neighborhood where he could blend in better. If he goes on the lamb (lam?) to Kentucky or somewhere he’s gonna stand out like a sore thumb.

But on the flipside, I think you still gotta run. The truth is nobody thinks they’re gonna get clipped until they do. As far as I know GUS FARACE acted on his own and killed the DEA agent.

At first the 5 families were helping to hide Farace until the heat was turned up so bad they had no choice but to kill him or turn him over, and if the turned him over he could have tried to rat to save his skin.

Farace was child.hood friends with Louis Tuzzio a Bonnanno associate, Mario Gallo was his TUZZIO's protégé.

Tuzzio was a SHOOTER with NOTCHES on his belt.

They lured Farace to a corner in Bensonhurst 18th and 81th street, which was a hang out for the 18th ave boys.
Under the pretense of giving Farace's written letters from and to hi mother, TUZZIO supposedly had the letters.

Farace/Sclafani were In a double parked car off the corner, Louie drove by in a van and had a tech 9 and opened fire out of the driver's side window, on the street Nicky Tuzzio, Galliine and Gallo were all firing shots, Farace never had a chance to retaliate however, Sclafani, opened the drivers side door of the car and fired back, Tuzzio was shouting at the shooters not to shoot ANYMORE, as he knew better, but it was too late Sclafani was hit.

The after math was Farace was dead and Scalfani was wounded.

There were 100's of cop card, feds etc. Because of who it was. IT WAS CRAZY SCENE.

After that Gotti ordered everyone from the hit team murdered for hitting Sclafani, the Bonnano's offered up Tuzzio,

Louie Tuzzio shortly thereafter was told he was getting his button he knew at the time it were possible t that he was going to get whacked and he did.

The luch's made Galliine and Gallo was in his crew.
After such they had a HUGE drug dealing operation the biggest in Brooklyn, they had Mike DeRosa and Messy Marvin working for them. (Those are the two that shot out Scarpa's eye)
They were very powerful they were going around shaking down every independent drug pusher in Bensonhurst.

Nicky Tuzzio (Louie's Brother) was bad on drugs no one took him in he got locked up for pulling a crack head score and eventually flipped

Furio, not going to answer that, I know him for many years and that info is not public and could somehow affect him in a negative way.

Did john gotti get charged with ordering the kids murders i cant remember. Gotti must have been very good friends wit scalfini father to have a handfull of guys whacked. They only wounded the guy. Farace saved Petrocelli's life in prison so as pay back he never handed him over

Gotti was never charged with Louis Tuzzio murder
Lil Robert Lino made his bones with the Tuzzio hit

He was charged and ended up pleading out to it and other racketeering charges he took a 40 year plea deal

It was a long time ago I remember he was close to Gotti, close enough to have enough Juice to have the whole hit crew ordered whacked.
