In this times all the top hitters are in prison and apart some old guys like Carneglia few killed one or two guys and are on the streets.
Phil Narducci for sure killed frankie Flowers in philly under scarfo for sure Albie Vena and Sally D in chicago killed dozen of people in the rogue 1990s -1980s chicago.

No longer active but John Martarano pled to 19 murders while flipping on Whitey Bulger and did 12 years. He's been out for years. Saw him once in the Food Court of a mall. Imagine an elderly killer of 19 people just sitting there.

Watched an interview with him. He seemed pretty unrepentant. Not someone I'd put forth as a candidate for clemency. But I suppose it's the same as most of them. Leonetti, Gravano, they all find a way to justify their lifestyle and their actions.

Michael Franzese is probably the worst. At least the others haven't found a way to monetize born again religion.

I reckon there’s way more hitters out there than you think. What percentage of active and free made guys do you think have committed murder??

There's a lot of made guys that never cracked an egg. It's all about being an earner. Yes, there are shooters but its the money that the mobster want, it's the money that they crave. Hollywood created that myth that you have to kill someone to get straightened out. Nonsense. There are some shooters they call on to kill and beat people up but leaving bodies on the street is bad for business specially in todays Cosa Nostra.

today mob is all about the money and being underground
so why would they mess with bodies and killings when there is an option for peace and making $
so if there are shooters in the mob (of course there are, maybe not as many as people think but still there are) they have to worry about making money and not
killing...

Slightly off topic, but in Boston/New England, I don't think that there's been a sanctioned mob hit since Carmen DiNunzio became boss or acting boss going back to the early 2000's.

Charlie moose Panarella old Colombo skipper apparently a very mean and vicious gangster, someone mentioned he died but I could not find anything online to support that, if he is still alive the old man is in his 90s

Re: Most prolific mob killer currently on the street - 02/12/19 01:44 AM

Pmac I think it’s gotta be way more than 5%. What about all those hits through the 80s 90s which went unsolved. I reckon there’s a lot of those guys on the street whether retired or active that played some parts in certain hits. I would say 20% are murderers across the board. Look at philly with there guys. Look at Boston with theres like that matty googlemetii. Your telling me these old timers ain’t all put in work. And nyc is massive loads of unsolved hits over past few decades

that moose was meant to of been mean. Killed the Coney Island guy that called Carlo Gambino a name. What a school boy error that was

Re: Most prolific mob killer currently on the street - 02/12/19 02:17 AM

i mean every familys probaly different. but im guessing say in the last 20 yrs in the gambino family that made 50guys im guessing maybe 5 kiulled some one. i mean those guys around gaspipe and vic those brokklyn guys have alot of hits. george neck conte frank lastorino ect. george borgesi was heard saying he had like 8 or something. but john carneglia shot big paul i mean no one else alive killed a boss.

Re: Most prolific mob killer currently on the street - 02/12/19 08:38 AM

John Carneglia is dangerous I've been trying to get a recent picture of him since he got out but not had much luck, strange as Gene Gotti been pictured a few times already, Bruno Indelicato killed bonanno boss Carmine Galante but he is in jail, some people say Galante was just a crazy captain that thought he was boss but sure sounded like he was the boss to me

Re: Most prolific mob killer currently on the street - 02/13/19 09:26 PM

It might be Carneglia. You've got Gravano listing him as the shooter of Castellano and Louie Milito. And those are just the ones Gravano knows about. We have very little information(surprisingly) about who committed the murders surrounding the Gotti/Fatico crew in the 70s and 80s or earlier. Or even how many hits the Gotti/Fatico crew did.

And who knows about Favara, Plate, Alite claims that he helped kill a kid who witnessed Junior stab someone and stage it as a suicide, DeSimone, Galione, Gelb.....and who knows how many people around Gotti/Fatico who died in the 70s-80s.

When you say on the street it eliminates alot of folks. Crazy part theres rats out on the street with handfuls. But to go by each of the 5 families the luchese brooklyn guys have abunch. There all probaly in the late 50tys to. Also because little al darco fingerd some many shooters in murders we know about but a genovese guy might have a handfull and weve never heard his name.

I think if Joey Testa and Anthony Senter make it to 2032(they'll be in their late 60s) I think they win.
