Theory on the commission’s current state. - 12/11/18 04:41 PM

Recent doccuments and indictments have rly backed up the theory that some sort of commission is currently active. If i was to say, id guess that the gambino and genovese families form some sort of ‘board of directors’ for lcn, since the two families hold the most power and have ties back in Italy. Plus the two families also oversee the decavs and the guys in philly. The other three families have power and influence but i have a hard time believing they would be considered on the same level of the gambinos or the west side. Anyone agree?

Maybe the colombo's too
Since we have no idea what's going on
And more then 10 years without any headlines from them
That might indicate that they rebuilld themsevles...

The fact we do not KNOW means yes they are meeting. My guess Cefalu and Barney must be on it being high ranking members on the street. This is how it should be secretive not all over the net.

I bet crews are so independent now making it harder for snitches to roll on other families and stuff.

Look at it this way we hear Amuso was no longer boss and yet he is still the boss, and hell we do not even know if Cali is boss or Cefalu still is. For all we know Peter Gotti could still be the official boss and Cali/cefalu are ABs...we all thought Crea was boss or AB and we find out he was only UB and Matty is AB

The Genovese have ceremonies every ten years or so and each time they're bringing in up to 15 guys. The last one was in 2009 or 2010. The other families seem to have them every three years. The Bonannos are probably having one as we speak.

One thing that Massino did that was smart and ensured future generations of survival for the Bonnano's.

He had all made members Induct their sons, nephews etc.

+ He was charging $1.500 a month that every member had to pay

For every 7 new guys that is about $10,000 a month just From the monthly dews.

Mikie Scars Appointed Liaison to Colombos
"I became the liaison to the Colombo family," Michael explained when asked about how he'd come to grow so close to Allie Boy despite the problems between the two organizations.

That's right, each crime family has a liaison to each of New York's other crime families, a man specially appointed to the position, and it's usually the consiglieri, Mikie Scars said.

I think that’s as far as we go communication-wise between families. It’s much safer. You appoint a well respected and reliable guy, consigliere or not, perhaps a top-tier capo connected to another crime family either through his extended family or by shared turf/business.
