He actually died on May 18, but his death has been just reported in a newspaper only now.

In the article, Renaud mentions that according to the newspaper's information, Massino and Vitale had both separately revealed to RCMP investigators visiting them in New York City that a fourth person involved in the Three Captains Hit, whom Massino and Vitale never identified, was a Montrealer who was missing an earlobe.

In the sixth family book are write that at 3 capos murders there was a man known only as "the veteran" that had white hairs.But Ragusa was 41 y old in 1981 who know if he was "the veteran".

This article below posted by antimafia, makes reference to Ragusa being the other man.

The articles states, "In 1981, when the head of the Bonanno mafia family in New York, Joseph Massino, asked Vito Rizzuto to help him "clean up" his clan, he would have gone to Brooklyn with Ragusa.
That's what Massino police and his right-hand man, Good Looking Sal Vitale , told the police about twenty years later, becoming accusers and incriminating Rizzuto in three murders. Ragusa was never arrested in this case which led to the incarceration of the godfather between 2004 and 2012. "
