This is the interview with Mafia expert Tim White of WPRI in Rhode Island on the start of the Cadillac Frank Salemme murder trial. I did the interview this week on my WBSM radio show in Massachusetts.

Its gonna be good the exchange between salemme and flemmi they were friends since there reens there familys new each other and since atleast salemme gets caught in nyc after bombing the lawyer flemmi was telling on him. Seems like Frank treated him as a equal even when he becomes the boss of new england.

Pmac - I have followed your posts on here for a long time and you seem to have good insights into LCN. I have been covering NELCN on my radio show for a few years. Any thoughts on why Salemme didn't admit to DiSarro murder in his agreement with the government? He wouldn't be on trial today if he had admitted it years ago.

cause the feds probaly told him disarro was a federal witness and frank isnt dumb he knew thats a death penalty thing. i always wonder why did he flip in 1999, he was already sentenced to 10 yrs for the 1995 rico case. he would have done a few more years in jail and got out. whyd he flip on connely? he was gonna get out around 2004 anyway. probaly would have went right back to being a boss in boston right? it wasnt his fault whiitey and steve were snitches.

Going to be another interesting week in the Boston Mafia murder trial - I have been following Tim White and Michele McPhee on Twitter because the judge is letting reporters live Tweet the trial. The reporters at the Boston Globe, Boston Herald, and Boston Channel 25 are also great sources on Twitter. I think Capo Bobby Deluca will take the stand this week.

I'm curious I have heard of Big Chris Richichi before but didn't know he was put out in Las Vegas as a Captain for the Gambinos does anybody have any names or know who was part of his crew out there Vegas

I know Kenneth Guarino, a major pornographer from Rhode Island, was with Richichi when he came from Las Vegas to Boston, according to the public record.

Im kind of curious about jackie salemme too, don't know much about the guy other than he was a capo and that his name got thrown out there as being present when disarro was murdered. not much out there about frank salemme jr either.

Bobby Deluca is on the stand today. He claims that Rocco Argenti and Eddie Lato whacked Kevin Hanrahan on Salemme's orders. Argenti was the triggerman.

Also, he was wearing a wire which led to all the indictments in the strip club extortion cases and convictions of Mannocchio, Lato, etc.

im confused now. the fbi agent just said in court he wanted diasrro to become a informant but he never called him back. isnt salemme whole case about killing a government witness? if im the defense im challenging the case from the point disarro was never a fbi witness he got murderd but this case doesn't belong in federal court maybe state 1st degree muder but the guy wasnt a federal witness rite? i put a apostrophe in there for you chris was gonna put a comma but i just couldnt.
