Joseph Massino Testimony

I am not sure if this has ever been posted or talked about on here, but awhile ago, some Joseph Massimo testimony surfaced on YouTube. I am not sure if orginal is still there, I couldn't find it when searching, so I reuploaded it. Please note of sound quality and noise issues. I tried to clean up any of those problems, but probably missed a few. Some of it cannot be heard. It is best listened with headset. Enjoy!

Thank you. In today's day and age it's crazy that it's so difficult to find the full Massino transcripts. Such a piece of shit. Also pisses me off that he clearly lied on the stand (saying Sonny Black and Tony Mirra weren't killed for Brasco). Lying, murdering and stealing suited the beached Whale Massino just fine until he got pinched. His family has to be ashamed that "the last Don" was shown to be a fat rat and the true man was the pretty boy salon owner. Vinny Gorgeous doesn't get enough credit. The guy is a legend and there really isn't much out there biographical wise. I mean he's in the Bonanno family leadership pic at age 21!! The one with Big Trin, Phil Lucky, Bruno, and I think Sonny reds brother at a wedding....if at age 21 he was so close to powerful Capos he was surely earmarked for future leadership.

Previte knew what he was. He was honest about it. Caramandi acts like he was scared of being scapegoated and murdered unjustly by Scarfo - bullshit. Guys like Caramandi and Massino were conmen pure and simple. Previte never pretended he was white as the driven snow. He called the bullshit for what it was.

Lost even more respect, if possible, for Caramandi after reading about him gloating about driving a pharmacist to suicide in one of his cons in Blood and Honor.

Why should Caramandi have not been afraid of Scarfo?...he was scared 2 death of him & rightly so...

Previte was even more full of shit. You're crazier than hell if you believe just a little of his bullshit. He tried to play cop, then gangster, got caught, then ratted over it. Nothing worse than that. He's more of a low life than Caramandi was.

DM I know Previte was a reprehensible human being, and a liar, but the impression I get is that he knows it and doesn't pretend he's any different. He's always said, to my knowledge, that he used the police, and the mob, for his own ends; that his only loyalty was to himself.

Caramandi took what, 2 days to turn state witness against Scarfo.

If Anthony Nicodemo were to rat now it would be mitigated by the fact he clearly would have spent months, even years making that decision.

Also weird how he talks of Salvie Testa with great esteem yet chuckles nonchalantly about betraying and murdering him. (Philly mob doc I posted on other thread).

I agree with you 100% Dix, the fat fuck was a huge scumbag, but like Moe says he knew he was one and he didn't hide the fact that he was a thief, liar and an opportunist. In that documentary with Sir Trevor McDonald he was brutally honest about himself and 'The Life'..

I'm a big fan of these documentaries. He asks the right questions and gets great answers from them.

My guess is a cell phone or tape recording. This is not my audio and I tried cleaning it up to the best of my audio cleaning ability. Seems like the person who recorded it loves coughing among other things at random intervals. I would suggest a headset if possible. Some parts are clearer than others.

No he testified for a few days. I listened awhile back theres alot of interesting history in there wish it could be published he talks about how galante was a capo then acting boss then tried to take over the family when rusty was senteced to 10yrs. They coughing sucks. Yep whoever recorded it broke the law bringing a recording device into federal court and would probaly get sent to jail for a few years for blaitingly breaking the law posted on the door you walk threw.

Rusty didnt go to jail to either dec 1975 or jan 76. Galante was under rustys control . He was out since 74. Rusty taped galante to be acting boss it wasnt just a takeover. Always wonder who was rustys underboss in 1974 75 76 probaly nick glasses m. Cause he stayed on for years.

It disturbs me how many lies massino told. The one that pissed me off the most was about george from canada. George never wacked a mobsters son, and massino wasnt forced to have george clipped. Massino wacked him on his own terms. Damn 🐀

george who was the capo of the montreal crew in 90tys. when massino became boss 91 92 he made george the capo. george had his guys kill joe lopresti who was a made guy in the montreal crew and so was his father. joe lopresti was found in some woods on teh ca/ny boarder. think the hit happend in 94 95 never asked massino for permission.

the older lopresti went to controni to ask new york what happend. massino must have put it together. the father wanted revenge.
