Apart from Sinatra, did anyone else have their showbiz career/success launched by the Mafia? I heard that the rock band Kiss had LCN help, but I'm skeptical about that...

Roulette Records ran by Morris Levy was a front for the Genovese family. They had a few hits from artists like Tommy James & The Shondells,Count Basie,Bill Haley and His Comets and Louis Armstrong

Hesh on the Sopranos is based on Levy.

Scorsese is still considering making a movie about Levy and Tommy James.
