Actually they're under the Genoveses and have been for years.

The DeCavs haven't been under the Gambinos since the Gotti era.

The decavalcantes are an indipendent family but must ask to Gambinos for choose the boss or made new members. Gotti in the 1980s ordered to repeat an induction ceremony. Its the same for the philly mob where scarfo sr was helped by genovese nj capo boy manna to become the philly mob boss.

According to this document and Stango's words, they're under the Gambinos. At least they were in 2014.

Do you think it's the weakest of the 10 existing families?
How long do you think he has left this family?

The decavalcantes are weak because must fight in its territory with the 5 families and the philly mob.For sure all the mobsters want to be made in NY families or in Philly so what remains (people like stango son for example) accept to stay with the decavancantes.
The family had 30-40 made men and could easly made much money in North Jersey with construction rackets but again NY want a huge piece of the pie.

Meyer this was the situation even before decavalcante become boss. In fact the decavalcante was always know as the peasants by NY even Philly with bruno was more powerful. For this reason vinnie ocean wanted to help gotti with weiss because wanted more respect.

So what if they're not as big as the NYC families? They are real criminals, and I would think they still have men capable of putting in work. I wouldn't fuck with them.
Posted By: MeyerLansky

Re: family decavalcante young generation ? - 11/03/17 07:30 PM

so maybe one day some they will have a good smart and respected boss who could lead them to the top, with some good recruitment of soldiers and good leading capos.

Last I heard they were the only NY family without a Florida crew. I'm talking about a real crew with a capo, not a just a few Colombo guys in Florida for a holiday.

In regards to the Colombos having a Florida crew, that info you offered up as proof that the Colombos have a Florida crew is 5 years old and a lot of things have changed since 2012.

If Stango Jr. is the future they might as well pack it in, he is a huge wigger, what a disgrace. If his father had any self respect he would hang himself out of shame.

Colombo Florida crew made members.
Emro Capri-65
Thomas Farese-78, current Capo
Anthony Induisi-69, former Capo
Salvatore Induisi-64
Joe Rotunno- 72, former Capo
John S--------68, transferred to Florida crew in the 1990's to keep a better eye on him after the third Colombo war, as of the late 2000's, may have been put into a New York City crew.
Pat Truglio

Possible member, Girolamo Cottone-87, may actually belong to Sicily.

Frank Gervasi is made in the Genovese crime family, but his son is an associate to the Colombo family in Florida.

The only known made member left alive in that area since this passed July is Dominic Montemarano-79, since 2000, four made members have passed away, there is still a handful of Colombo associates in SoCal, Arizona, and Nevada.

Edit:Rey Magagni was named Capo when Farese was bumped up to acting Consigliere, he then flipped later.

Thank you Furio we can see the complete chart of the family Decavalcante we can notice as you said they have many old members.
The members who are arrested with Charles Stango and his son most were younger under 40 do you think they will be inducted?
And for the supposed associates in your charts do you have their ages to know if they are a future in this family?
Thank you again for your work.

There has been a bust in 2012 which clearly shows they do. Thomas Farese is the captain and Reynold ‘Ren’ Maragni was the former captain who flipped in 2011 and gave rise to Farese. Farese, in 2012, got an impressive bump to acting consigliere. This is well-documented information.

Do the Decavs just operate in Elizabeth exclusively? Is there any piece of land they have cut for themselves or do they literally share all of North Jersey with other families?

Do any of these guys still make proper money? That Stango sr was a capo and his ideas and plans with his son seem like chump change. Some bs about hookers and coke. And when he wanted to whack someone it all seemed like amateur hour.. are the guys up the ladder millionaires (suspected. obviously I understand their accounts aren’t public lol)

Re: family decavalcante young generation ? - 07/26/18 10:52 PM

When I read about that stango bust it seemed like feds are wasting your tax money chasing some scrape of the barrell lcn publicity. Even that Guarraci didn’t seem all there when he went into some restaurant like a 25 yr old juice head trying to intimidate. Not clever boss like behaviour. Just a hunch anyways I don’t know the inside scoops from England!
