Re: Organized Crime in British Columbia - 01/15/18 08:19 PM

The victim Troy McKinnon is connected to the Independent Soldiers.

Another case of a gang related kidnapping shortly after that one was also tied to the Independent Soldiers. Jesse Margison and Troy McKinnon were accused of kidnapping and torturing a former associate named Robert McMillan. They beat his knees with hammers and cut off his ear and finger storing them in an ice cream carton. The victim refused to testify in that case and the accused walked. His brother Jonathon McMillan was shot to death in December 2007.

In February 2009, Jesse Margison’s girlfriend Brianna Kinnear, 22, was gunned down in a targeted hit in Coquitlam. A few days later, Margison associate Nick Smith was shot to death in a Vancouver basement suite.

Jesse Margison and Troy McKinnon were arrested February 2012 for another kidnapping and assault that occurred on Nov. 23, 2011 in Vancouver.

Not true, strictly speaking...while not on the scale of any of the big LCN names there was the Gentile organization in Vancouver in the 50s/60s/70s. That family continued to be run by Carlo Gallo from prison until his death in the 1990's, when things more or less petered out. Many people including very prominent Italians in Vancouver connected to them. The Brancas, Minichiellos and Salituros among them. There's a little bit of info on those guys out there if you go digging for it but not much. Mostly court documents. Very little has ever been written about it, although Gentile does get a line in Stephen Schneider's book on OC in Canada.

Old time cops can tell you a bit about them, but frankly they never knew much and that's why those guys were never caught. An old Crown prosecutor named Brian Purdy probably knows the most about them. Western Canada police forces were simply not equipped to deal with anything like LCN. Joe Gentile was close with Paolo Violi and was Godfather (in the Catholic sense) to one of his kids.

There were also the Papalia twins (unrelated to the Hamilton Papalias) who were close Rizzuto allies on the West Coast.

Re: Organized Crime in British Columbia - 06/19/18 11:13 PM

Deported gang associate arrested in India for running
drug factory
KIM BOLAN Updated: June 18, 2018
A longtime Abbotsford gang associate deported to India two years ago has been arrested there for allegedly producing the drug ketamine at his factory in Goa.
Jimi Singh Sandhu once tried to convince an immigration board official that he was a changed man and had left his criminal life and gang associations behind.

He begged for another chance to stay in Canada, the country he had lived in since the age of seven.

“I would just like one chance, one opportunity to prove myself to you,” he said at the time. “I won’t let you down.”

But the Canadian official said she was unconvinced that Sandhu was reformed and that he minimized his role in violent assaults in 2010 and 2012.

He was also charged with killing rival Red Scorpion gang leader Matt Campbell in Abbotsford in January 2014, but the charge was stayed a year later.

Sandhu was deported in early 2016 for serious criminality.

Now 28, he is in judicial custody after being arrested June 14 in India and charged with running an illicit drug manufacturing plant, according to Indian news reports.

Another man identified as Canadian Nguyen Manh Cuong was also charged, along with nine others — two of whom are British nationals who live in Goa.

The Hindustan Times reported that Cuong told Indian police that he met Sandhu in Vietnam and was helping him make connections to sell ketamine there.

Cuong also claimed that he agreed to travel to India to guide Sandhu in processing ketamine at the Goa factory.

Police seized 308 kilograms of ketamine, 2,000 kilograms of precursor chemicals, as well as opium, cocaine and hashish.

The Times also said investigators believe the drug gang was smuggling its product out of India and selling it to traffickers in Canada and Africa.

Sandhu was once closely associated to Jujhar Khun-Khun, Sukh Dhak and members of the United Nations gang. Some of his friends have been part of the gang conflict that has left dozens dead across the Lower Mainland over the last three years. Khun-Khun pleaded guilty in Kelowna on May 1 to conspiracy to kill Red Scorpion Jonathan Bacon in 2011 and was sentenced to 18 years minus pre-trial credit. Dhak, who was behind the Bacon murder, was shot to death in November 2012.

Abbotsford police were so concerned about Sandhu’s gang involvement that it took the extraordinary step in 2015 of warning the public to steer clear of him or risk getting caught in the crossfire.

Sgt. Brenda Winpenny of the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit said Sandhu was “long-known to police here for his involvement in organized crime.”

“This is just another example of these individuals tied to the criminal lifestyle here in Canada that have left and continued on with their criminal paths in another country,” Winpenny said.

Sandhu himself acknowledged to the immigration board that he knew he had to change his life.

At his hearing two and a half years ago, he said: “I know that path is either go to jail or you die.”

Well that's not entirely the case. Of course, there's quite a few foreign crime groups active in Canada. The most noteworthy are the Asian gangs: Chinese Triads, Vietnamese gangs, Punjabi gangs and Korean gangs are all very much active in BC and Ontario. Of course you also have the Italian crime groups; notably the Sicilian mafia in Quebec and the Calabrian Ndrangheta in Ontario. Then there's also the Caribbean gangs: Jamaican posses in Ontario, Haitian posses in Quebec.

Anyhow, by far the most prevalent form of OC in Canada are the biker gangs. And they're like 95% born and bred farmer white guys.

When I first heard of Alkhalil's murder, Ranieri's murder came to mind and wondered if they are connected.

Alkalil brothers are associated with the Wolfpack now allied with the Rizzuto's and Ranieri also a Rizzuto associate.

I wonder if the Ndrangheta had any influence with the Mexican's in having them both killed or could it be just a random killing !

It's a small world !
The Colombian Garcia Arevalo and his partner Harpreet Singh Majhu both killed in BC in 2016 were behind a hit in Dubai, part of a series of liquidations - in Istanbul, Amsterdam, Dubai and Canada - which started with a batch of heroin stolen in Greece.
The two mercenaries worked for the Turkish mafia and were members of the Brothers Keepers, a notorious motorcycle gang.

No, the BC media thinks otherwise... This is a quote from an article last year “ B.C.’s anti-gang agency is warning of a relatively new group of criminals who go by the name, Brothers Keepers.”

Also them expanding territory in parts of Metro Van.. I have reason to believe they are referring to The Brothers Keepers.

Yes but some of these groups also have Caucasian members. It was founded by Gavin Grewal with most of its members and leadership formerly aligned with the Red Scorpions. This organization is active mainly in Metro Vancouver but is believed to have made inroads into the Interior of British Columbia, Vancouver Island, Alberta and Ontario. The Brothers Keepers are led by the Grewal/Dhaliwal.

Bootlickers?? Are you nuts?

These idiots are running all over town spraying bullets in every direction - more than 30 people were sitting on the patio of that cactus club. I salute any "bootlicker" that steps forward and lessens the chances that I'll be killed for no other reason than I hit up cactus club for a feenie burger.

If people, and there are many on this board, are guilty from time to time of romanticizing the Italian Mafia - it is partway forgivable because part of the allure of that organization, whether myth or reality or somewhere in between is that it's a group of professionals who conduct their criminal acts with a code of honour. Whens the last time the Gambino family lit up the patio of a family restaurant?

Even the Hells Angels conduct their criminal business in BC with much more dignity and honour than these fools. It's only a matter of time before they kill someone completely innocent. Absolutely anything we can do to stop any of these guys is OK in my books. I hope they all go down.

Re: Organized Crime in British Columbia - 05/18/21 04:40 AM

a rapper calling himself Lolo Lanski posted his song Dedman to SoundCloud and YouTube. It had over 80,000 downloads as of this week.

The anti-Brothers Keepers song describes Grewal being shot inside his penthouse home — noting that the killer “sent lead to his head” and that the violence was part of “trying to put a BK on TV.”

Bizarrely, the song includes an audio excerpt of the recorded 911 call made by Grewal’s brother Manbir inside the suite after the BK boss was killed.

The operator asks: “OK, so what is happening?”

The brother replies: “I came to check up on my brother and found out he’s been shot.”

He says there is neither a gun nor anybody else in the suite.

“Is he cold?” the operator asks.

“Yes, he’s cold,” the brother answers.

“What’s you brother’s name?”

“Gavinder Grewal.”

Then the song has the sound of a gunshot echoing.
Police investigating use of 911 recording

The Sun has confirmed that the 911 call is authentic. How the rapper, whose real name is Ekene Anigbo, obtained a copy of the recorded call is under investigation, Vancouver police Insp. Lisa Byrne confirmed.

On Lanski/Anigbo’s Instagram page, he has posted a photo of Grewal rival Gary Kang taken inside the North Fraser pretrial jail, though there is an emoji blocking part of Kang’s face. “Free my broski out of there,” Lanski wrote.

A source told the Sun that a recording of the 911 call was part of a disclosure package that was sent to the pretrial jail for an accused in another gang case. Court records confirm that Anigbo was in custody on charges of uttering threats, possession of a firearm without a licence and carrying a prohibited device.

He pleaded guilty in September and was sentenced to a day in jail plus probation. Then in November, he was charged with breaching his probation conditions. He is due back in provincial court in Vancouver on Jan. 30.

Quesnelle, who is charged with killing Gary Kang’s brother and wounding Kang, will make his next court appearance the following day in Surrey. Last August, the Sun observed the young rapper and accused hitman at the funeral of slain Hells Angel Suminder “Allie” Grewal with several Brothers Keepers alongside him.

But who are the allies of the Brothers keepers?
Posted By: Kese

Re: Organized Crime in British Columbia - 05/18/21 10:28 PM

Since the war started I don’t know who’s allied with BK, I’d really like to know… This might help

“Red scorpion/Kang

HA/Dhaliwal/Grewal/Brothers Keepers

Sidhu/Chahil/UN

Are your 3 factions that are in the news most often

Kangs, Dhaliwals, and Grewal were all once allied and aligned together with the red scorpions before they split up into warring against each other (grewals and dhaliwals are still aligned). UN indos trace their lineage back to the dhak-duhre groups

Here is an event that doesn't get talked about:

in 2019 Hells Angel "Ali" Grewal was killed:

https://vancouversun.com/news/crime/hells-angels-pay-respects-to-slain-biker-suminder-grewal

He was rumored to be the connection between the dhaliwals and HA. The dhaliwal brothers were pictured attending his funeral.

The dhaliwals are interesting in that the grewals and kangs took major losses (brothers getting killed) but the dhaliwals always seemed to escape. Which is why the coal harbour thing is a pretty big deal.

The whole family is shady, they have farms on both side of the border, and shrek dhaliwal was on court papers financing a 3 million dollar coke deal for the bacons in 2011.

There are other groups that are more quiet but definitely involved. wolfpack, IS etc (wolfpack is likely aligned on BK side I'm not certain though). A lot of the politics from 2009 are still around, a lot of the politics from 2009 trace farther back too“

How accurate is the last part?
Posted By: Blackmobs

Re: Organized Crime in British Columbia - 05/18/21 11:22 PM

So if I get it right, the hells angels are allied with the BK.
And the Dhawilal and Grewal are also allied with the BK.

Re: Organized Crime in British Columbia - 05/23/21 06:06 AM

Police in Nanaimo say Thursday’s fatal shooting of a man in a parked car is linked to the ongoing Metro Vancouver gang conflict.

Nanaimo RCMP say the “brazen daytime shooting” at about 3:30 p.m. near a Wendy’s restaurant on Highway 19A at Rock City Road led to the arrest of three suspects with ties to the Lower Mainland, and there is no continued risk to the public.

“We believe this event has a nexus to the ongoing gang conflict and violence currently plaguing a number of Lower Mainland communities,” said RCMP Acting Insp. Donovan Tait.

Tait said several alert citizens called police soon after the shooting and that helped with the quick arrests.

Tait said investigators are now asking for the public to contact them if they spotted a vehicle — a 2003 pearl-white Cadillac Escalade SUV — that was seen in the area in the days leading up to the murder.

Police also want to talk to witnesses who were walking or driving through Rock City Plaza around the time of the Thursday shooting, including a white woman seen walking toward Jumping Jiminy’s Playground & Cafe.

The three suspects have been released while the investigation continues

I'm not sure on international HA internal relations, but Canadian HA's have some of the more influential chapters, and some play a pretty big role in drug trade. When you bring in money, generally people look the other way.

https://www.google.ca/amp/s/www.cbc.ca/amp/1.6041519

What's going on in Vancouver with gangs right now?

A: Over the last year, [we] have had a pretty violent gang war raging in the streets. There have been a lot of very public shootings, including at malls, including at the Vancouver airport right outside the international terminal, and outside busy restaurants.

So the public is rightfully concerned about what's going on. There are at least three different groups and some independent drug traffickers that are involved in this conflict, and this year alone, we've seen more than 20 dead and more than 20 wounded.

Can you give me a quick overview of who these groups are?

A: The older gangs would be the the United Nations gang, which has extensive links in Calgary with the FK there.

There is also the Red Scorpion Gang, people will recognize that name, going back more than a dozen years, because we had that terrible Surrey Six massacre here in 2007. The Bacon brothers were connected to the Red Scorpion Gang.

And we have a newer gang called the Brothers Keepers, and some of these people have had associations with other gangs previously, but the Brothers Keepers has been around and evolved in the drug trade for four to five years at this point.

Do we know what happened to cause this latest violence?

A: There is more competition through the pandemic for the drug trade. Lots of drug use is occurring, but sometimes it's tougher to get product because of the border being shut down, so it's obviously battles over drug lines and drug territory.

Organized crime: heat rises around Jarrod Bacon

The criminal gang warfare in Western Canada seems to be moving to Quebec soil, as two men approached an ex-inmate near a halfway house in Quebec in an attempt to track down one of the most notorious criminals in Quebec. British Columbia.
The only problem: their target, Jarrod Bacon, would not be in Quebec, but in the Montreal area.

According to our information, last week two black men showed a photo of Jarrod Bacon to the ex-inmate near a halfway house in the Capitale-Nationale, in order to find out if he was residing there.

The worrying information, to say the least, has reached the ears of law enforcement authorities.
Jarrod Bacon, 37, is a notorious criminal in British Columbia. He was released from prison at the end of March after serving his sentence for attempting to import 200 kg of cocaine into the country. He has since been staying in a halfway house in the metropolitan area.
The two individuals who were trying to locate Bacon have not been arrested and it is not clear why they want to locate him.
Reign of fear
But you might think that people are resenting Jarrod Bacon, the one who has created fear in British Columbia for the past two decades along with his two brothers, Jonathan and Jamie.
The three brothers were senior members of the Red Scorpions criminal gang, who were engaged in a bloody war with another criminal group, the United Nations (UN).
Since the mid-2000s, the siblings have been suspected of drug trafficking and numerous violent crimes involving firearms.
In 2012, the youngest of the family, Jarrod, was sentenced to 12 years in prison for conspiring to smuggle cocaine, but his sentence was increased to 14 years in the Court of Appeal.
He was first released on parole in 2017.

His release was, however, revoked three times rather than once over the following years due to breaches of his conditions.
Jarrod Bacon and his two brothers have made headlines in British Columbia multiple times over the past 20 years, mostly because of their criminal activities.
The youngest of the Bacon brothers, Jamie, was arrested in 2009 for his involvement in a massacre two years earlier in Surrey, British Columbia, in which six people, including two innocent people, were coldly shot. Local media have dubbed the affair "Surrey Six".
First charged with premeditated murder, Jamie Bacon eventually pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of conspiracy to murder. He is currently serving an 18-year prison sentence.
To date, the "Surrey Six" case is considered the deadliest event involving gang members in the history of the province.
Close to the Hells
The eldest sibling, Jonathan, was the alleged leader of the Red Scorpions when he was assassinated outside a Kelowna hotel in 2011.
He was at this time with Larry Amero, a member in good standing of the BC Hells Angels. Amero suffered very serious injuries in the attack, but he miraculously survived.
Larry Amero is a name well known to police authorities in Quebec, he who was arrested in 2012 as part of the Loquace project, led by the Sûreté du Québec.
This important investigation targeted a consortium of criminals who decided to take control of the importation and distribution of cocaine in Quebec while the majority of the Hells Angels were behind bars following Operation SharQc.

That’s some real street stuff, East Coast vs West Coast or the Mason Dixon Line. When I hear that Jagmeet and Omar Salvosa are trying to cover up their cover up, also that they aren’t UN gang members with the State, connected to HA Nomad Mark Stables, it makes me think of stuff like this.

Also that they aren’t working with Desjardins, Iavarone/Gallo and Martin Robert is an insult to the Game IMO, snitches are a dying breed type of stuff or three can keep a secret when two are dead ☠️

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Q_YuNPszd4

Do you know Lennox or Phil from Hamilton, the ones that Marty and Darko tried to kill? Pretty sure Lennox and Phil raped some girls and the State covered it up with Rick Joslin whose a HA/Red Devils Patch Over. Their girls are Kim Pokadori whose dad is a Hamilton Cop 👮‍♀️, she was dating all the Somalis right after 911 and Tanis Freeborn of the Red Devils in the East End, they went to Sherwood?

Seems like they got some Dixie Mafia, which I though was a HIV coven or something with the Glenny brothers from Burkholder and the Pine Stripes with Mike Wilson from Barton?

Do you remember when the Bloods of Hamilton attacked the groups of students from Salt Fleet or Orchard Park, I can’t remember which school, Cookie and Derek Palace, seems like it was over rapes those guys at Salt Fleet were committing with Hockey Canada and Brian McGrattan, the Peddle brothers? The Glanbrook Rangers?
Something to do with Jail House Rock and Blake McGrath, specifically related to Dameon and Roman in the ghetto in Molton with Earl? The Black Baby Jesus stuff with Biggie Smalls?

In the End it’s seems like it’s all just Communism or the Muslim Brotherhood whichever is guilty lol 😂

Re: Organized Crime in British Columbia - 06/04/21 05:05 PM

The DPD’s recently launched anti-gang team arrested 24 people last week, primarily for offences under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and for carrying weapons.

In an update posted Monday on the department’s social media channels, police said the violence suppression team is making good use of their automatic license plate readers, targeting people with a violent history or negative police contacts and looking for any lawful reason to pull those people over.

“We have a tip for those with negative police contacts in their past. If you’re driving through Delta, leave the weapons behind, and remember to signal before that lane change. Oh, and no littering. It’s amazing what catches our officers’ attention,” the department posted on Facebook.

Among the arrests the team made from May 26 to 29, police seized three prohibited weapons — all spring-assisted knives — during three different stops. Another suspect was quickly arrested with assistance from the DPD’s traffic unit after police responded to calls about a fight involving a bat. The man they arrested has a court date in July.

Police also ejected one group a local restaurant under the Inadmissible Patron Program.

“We made sure the bill got paid first,” police said on Facebook.

Shots fired into Surrey home, vehicle

Surrey RCMP’s general investigation and gang enforcement units are investigating, following a report of several shots being fired into a home and vehicle in the 15600-block of 83 Avenue Monday (July 5) night.

According to a news release issued just before 2 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to the shots-fired report at approximately 9:05 p.m., and while en-route, officers observed a dark-coloured Chrysler 300 fleeing the area at a high rate of speed. That same vehicle was located on fire near 194 Street and 16 Avenue in South Surrey, the release states.

It is the same area where, in May, a burned-out vehicle believed associated to a double-homicide

The occupants of the home that was targeted Monday are known to police and have ties to the ongoing Lower Mainland gang conflict, and police are “seeking the intended victims’ co-operation” to provide more information at this time, the release continues.

Police are investigating after a 23-year-old man known to be involved in gang activity showed up at a Surrey hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg.

Mounties say medical staff notified them about the man around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.

While the investigation is still in the early stages, police believe the shooting was targeted and linked to gang activity. The victim is known to police and is providing “limited co-operation,” said Surrey RCMP Sgt. Eleanor Sturko.

Police are trying to determine where the shooting occurred

I was in a chop shop that guy had in like 2003, before he was anybody special, I think he was just some wanna be cop 👮‍♀️, that became a HA. Was he Satan’s Choice, Vagabonds? What cut did he have before the HA one was giving away for free in Ontario?

high-profile former B.C. gangster was shot to death near his beachside villa in Phuket, Thailand.

Despite Sandhu getting deported from Canada in 2016 for “serious criminality,” the Indian-born gangster continued to have influence in B.C.

Sgt. Brenda Winpenny of the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit said Saturday that the slaying of UN gangster Jimi (Slice) Sandhu in Thailand could reverberate in B.C.

The UN, the Brothers Keepers and the Red Scorpion/Kang group are among the B.C. gangs locked in a violent war that has led to dozens of murders in recent years. Some BK gangsters celebrated Sandhu’s murder in social-media posts when the news broke here Friday afternoon.

Early 90s gang violence in Vancouver escalated following a drug transaction gone sour. Two brothers, Taras and Sergey Filonov, were both executed by the Hells Angels and local Asian gangs.
They were burried in Los Angeles where they originally came from.

Two members were involved in a very daring 2016 hit in Dubai. They were later both killed in Canada.

Turkish drug trafficker Cetin Koç was sitting in a car in one of Dubai’s most luxurious neighbourhoods, beside shiny towers that are among the tallest highrises in the world, when two hit men ran up and blasted away.

It was May 4, 2016. The Iranian-born Turkish national was hit seven times in the head and twice more in his chest and hand by Russian and Austrian-made guns equipped with silencers. Koç died instantly, his car engine still running.

The hit men — alleged to be Metro Vancouver residents Harpreet Singh Majhu and Orosman Jr. Garcia-Arevalo — raced to the airport in a rented vehicle, apparently getting into a fender bender en route. They were on a plane back to Canada before Dubai police had even identified them as suspects.

The Canadian assassins are alleged to have been hired on behalf of Naji Sharifi Zindashti, a very powerful Iranian-born drug lord based in Turkey.

Before he went to Dubai, Majhu had joined other young gangsters and traffickers to form the Brothers Keepers — a group aligned with the Red Scorpions that has split apart and turned on itself.

To me it's still confusing up there a report said in the Wolfpack they found at least one member who was involved in six different criminal organisations at the same time.

Re: Organized Crime in British Columbia - 01/07/24 05:59 AM

Brothers keepers is connected with a lot of other groups. Wolfpack, Hells Angels, FK, Ontario street gangs, and international links. They're key players now.

Wolfpack members are always involved with other groups.

The war right now is currently just about every group allied against a breakaway faction of UN and a breakaway faction of RS. The two breakaway groups are allied and are losing members fast. In the current landscape, UN is not at war but they also oppose the breakaway faction. RS has little presence on the streets now.

FBI THE SCOOP
The U.S. government is intensifying a manhunt for an Iranian intelligence operative who the Federal Bureau of Investigation believes has been plotting to assassinate current and former American officials, including one-time Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

The FBI’s Miami field office on Friday issued a public alert seeking information on Majid Dastjani Farahani, a suspected member of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security, who the Bureau alleged has been recruiting “individuals for operations in the U.S., to include lethal targeting of current/former USG officials.”

It’s unclear why the FBI issued its warning in Florida. But the U.S. government warned in a Most Wanted notice issued Friday that Farahani speaks Spanish and frequently moves between Iran and Venezuela. The U.S.’s Department of Justice convicted an alleged Iranian operative in 2011 of working with Mexican drug cartels to attempt to assassinate Saudi Arabia’s former ambassador to Washington, Adel al-Jubeir, while he dined at a Georgetown restaurant.
