Think about it has the Gambino Hierarchy including the top 3 and capos had good runs of late. What was the last major bust in that family?

Good point. The old days of the RICO trial with multiple murders, wire taps and a capo with testifies seems to be fading. Now it's more like the Bonanno bust with Nicky Mouth. Skinny Joey Merlino's attorney has called it "Racketeering Lite."

Probably limited FBI resources. Also these guys aren't leaving bodies as much. And my final guess is the Feds have been beaten several times or had mixed verdicts like Tommy Shots case and when Vinnie Asaro was acquitted. When they bring a case, they know it's gotta be solid.

Frank Cali and Dom Cefalu have been going strong. The Gambino leadership is a little murky to me nowadays. Which is smart.

Barney and his Genovese guys have had a long quiet run too.

I don't think Cali and Barney are going to enjoy retirement in Florida. Jail cell retirement is a high likelihood.
