New Gotti movie just a fluff piece? Gotti jr $$ ?

I just saw a preview for the new Gotti movie and it looked like s complete Hollywood blowjob from travolta and some producers to John jr and the ny mob.

Am I wrong? Where is the money coming from for this film? Is the script "approved"?

Maybe Mickey rourke and Robert Duvall (?) can tell me if I should

When he came gone he was normal. Like normal means your unsupervised kid rides a mini bike into the street between parked cars and jets run over...and you have the car driver murdered. Nice people. Oh yeah.

I'm shocked that anyone thought otherwise. John Jr has been the one pushing for this film to be made, of course it's going to make his dad look like a saint.

Did anyone really think it was going to be objective? Prediction - I bet it fails to mention all the junk Gene and the rest of the Gottis were slangin during the 80's.

I am wondering if it will be released in Theather's or not? Some go directly to Net Flex or to DVD.

Money for movie is very hard to get now. I have invested in some that my son's friends have made. If they are making other things they are not telling me about it. I guess because they just wanted there film made, and I just wanted to make money from it. We both got what we wanted and they complain that they did not make any money.

That's what I was asking. Now that I know jr is fully behind it I know it will be total garbage.

Not sure if Pesci is still in it. He put on ,30 pounds to play Angelo ruggerio for 3 million bucks then they wanted to switch him to gaspipe Casso for only 1 million so he sued them. Not sure what happened with that.

Don't bother with the Gotti movie. if you thought the 1996 version was fictionalized this one is even worse. Junior was heavily involved with the production.

I wonder if him slapping Alite is in there?

I want to give it a chance before judging it. John Travolta might turn in a good performance, and the supporting cast looks strong.

Chris Kasparoza who used to be on here has a part in the film. When he said he knew the Gotti's a few people doubted him, but it seems like he was telling the truth.

William DeMeo is in it. It will suck as all his movies do. This guy is the kiss of death.

Travolta hasn't been good for years. truthfully aramnd assante was probably the best gotti who looked liked him too. I'm sorry but I cant see a movie that will make Gotti look like a "robin hood" figure instead of the egomaniac murderer that he was
