Joseph Arcuri. I'm fascinated how he was able to avoid serving prison time and yet be such a big earner. He also served for just about every boss in the Gambino family and lived to be 91 without getting locked up.

Yeah, that guy did a whole lot during his short career. By the time he turned 21, he was already Big Trin's driver. Was a millionaire by the time he turned 28 and was one of the most interesting people involved in the Blue Thunder case, a case he wound up beating. He was everything in the Bronx, highly respected. A hoodlum through and through.

Joey Merlino...

cant say i've ever seen a true doc dedicated to his life from the beginning, him coming up in South Philly and during his time as boss.

You guys had a lot of good suggestions. I agree, the older docs did cover quite of few of the older guys. Some young bloods need a bit of coverage too. I forgot about Sonny. Hes a legend

yes, korshack would be interesting, as would ragano, probably wouldn't know much about them when they were alive, but, now that they have passed, there is much that could come out.

Re: Mobsters You Would Like to see Covered in TV Doc - 10/09/16 10:49 AM

I think it would be cool to see them do a good two hour doc based on the book Five Families with interviews of rats we haven't heard from yet, and rare news footage and pics.

Re: Mobsters You Would Like to see Covered in TV Doc - 10/09/16 11:40 AM

I think John Gotti would be a good pick I don't think they have one about him yet.

A documentary on Kefauver Hearings would be cool with unreleased footage. Even a legit Paul Castellano one with some clips from the wire taps.

Anyone of the names above would be good but I would like to see some unreleased surveillance photos or wire taps instead on the same old stuff
