How does a wire work/look?

How does a wire work/look? - 09/30/16 08:54 PM

How does a wire - the kind rats wear - look, and how does it work exactly?

Also, isn't wearing one risky? Not only the 'getting caught' factor, but isn't it easy to slip off the guy, and expose him or be revealed? At least on the Sopranos, a wire seemed to be taped to the guy's chest, and it looked like a microcassette recorder with a microphone attached. Is that how it tends to look? How wouldn't it be detected when say, hugging the guy?

U don't even need wires now

They can just put a pin hole cam inside your watch or jewellery

A couple made guys, who turned rat, were wearing their latest one... The watch. Records roughly 10 hours and stores locally on an SD card inside the watch. Nicky Skins & Reynold Maragni wore "the watch"

Yeah, they're using The Watch here in Jersey. Not even joking around, heard a lot of guys make you take your jewelery off for a serious sit down/meeting these days.....

Heard the Feds and NJ State Police also can put wires in shoes as a last resort , but they rarely do because it's too low to the ground and they have audibility issues with a wire in your shoes. They like to use the watch or put the wire in your gold Cross necklace.....

On a side note, haven't heard of too many NJ State Police organized crime busts here recently? NJ State Police have a large and very active Organized Crime unit, The Feds must be taking all the cases after NJ State Police lays the groundwork? NJ State Police used to really like the Philly guys (Borgata bust, Rich Tocchet gambling ring run by one of their own bust, and Vince Fillipelli indictment)....on a side note , I've seen recent pictures of Rick Tocchet with Joey Merlino, maybe from last summer- that ring was definitely under Staino- I feel that the NJ State Police were so embarrassed that one of their own was running a high end clientele (Wayne Gretzky) mob gambling ring that they didn't dig any deeper to make it even uglier and just wanted it to "go away" after they busted one of their own, just my two cents

Many criminals here in Holland also use the latest gadgets (recording and tracking devices, cameras, crypted phones etc..) among each other, socalled Spy shops are very popular with the local underworld.
