solid cast. Will be interesting to see if Travolta plays better Gotti than Assante. That Gotti movie pretty much had the whole Sopranos cast.

They didn't go for the standard wiseguy section at central casting this time.

Stacy Keach as Dellacroce and Pruitt Taylor V. as Ruggiero, solid actors but I'm very curious if they can play a wiseguy convincingly.

Loved Armand Assante as Gotti, but it was a pretty glorified portayal of Gotti. Tom Sizemore had a much more gritty and unsympathetic Gotti. The truth is prob somewhere in the middle.

I would know who is the actors for Gravano and Castellano

I've always thought Dean Norris (Hank from Breaking Bad) would make a good Ruggiero.

Still undecided over whether this will be good. I suppose if Johnny Depp can pull off Whitey Bulger then Travolta can pull of Gotti!

I loved Assante as Gotti, but I'm willing to give Travolta a chance in this movie, which will be a lot different in that it will also focus on the father/son angle. Something that didn't get touched in Assante's Gotti, the Junior Gotti character didn't even play a part in that movie..

I thought tne gotti movie with Assante sucked, it was ridiculous. The one with sizemore was even worse. Thats my opinion though.

I watched Gotti, liked it. Even if it was obviously fiction as far as some things go, it was still an entertaining movie. I never bothered to watch Witness to the mob(mainly because I thought Sizemore can't play Gotti), but seeing your reactions here, I'll give it a shot.

Also, I'll probably watch this movie too, but I don't have high expectations, therefore I doubt I'll be disappointed.

Idk, but he has a nice house. He was stabbed in a parking lot (should've been shot in the head). He provided the government with a list of recent or upcoming inductees. He just fucked many things up. It was a power move by Chin. He saw how bad senior fucked things up for the Gambinos, might as well let it ride with the boy (who isn't full blooded Italian).

There's an actor named Philip Baker Hall who is a dead giveaway for Neil Dellacroce..whenever i saw him i thought he would b a great neil..now the time has come 4 him 2 show his light,,great actor as well.. first noticed him in boogie nights & said 2 myself "that guy looks exactly like neil dellacroce"..google him, u guys have seen him b-4.

Phillip Baker Hall is great, especially in Paul Thomas Anderson's movies. You already mentioned Boogie Nights. See Hard Eight if you haven't. It's hard to find. Not on netflix or anything. Hall played Toddo Aurello in Witness to the Mob.

He was excellent on an episode of seinfeld.

Travolta is not 100% Italian, his Mother is Irish.
In interviews he has always said that he identified more with his Irish side.

They had the rules all over the place LEAVE YOUR UNDERWEAR ON. According to this guy none of the staff wanted to go near Travolta. They said he would strip down naked and assume the position as soon as the door was closed.

Unlike the Goodfellas movie that begins with the line, "As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster." This movie will begin with, "Once upon a time" and end in "They lived happily ever after"

^^ Travolta actually captured the look and demeanor of Gotti. Still say that Armand Assante's movie will be hard to top.

Assante was amazing. He killed that role. I want travolta to prove us wrong but it's hard for me to see.
