If Bilotti didn't drive Paul....

If Bilotti didn't drive Paul.... - 07/01/16 08:46 AM

Was it ever revealed that Tommy HAD to "go" along with Paul... ie if Tommy for whatever reason didn't drive Paul that day, would the hit gone ahead.... Tommy was considered his most faithful loyalist and was a "gorilla" as described by Sammy. Taking out Paul and leaving the underboss alive would be very dangerous

Tommy would have lost no doubt without Paul around BUT he would still put up a fight what with his brother Joe and some of their guys...

"The fist" would effectively have to hit the mattresses

Abit like the 3 capos murder. The first meeting (planned hit) was called off because not all three turned up

Gotti basically said whoever is with Paul has gotta die to , I don't think the hit would have been called off if bilotti was present or not

They would of whack Bilotti any way as he was a real Killer killed up to 13 men so he was a real risk to keep alive smile

Simply out of curiosity, where are you getting the "13 men" claim? I've only seen something similar said in "Boss of Bosses" which claimed he had killed eleven. And that book, other than the transcripts, was very bad, unreliable and full of falsehoods. Now I have no doubt that Bilotti was involved with some murders, but I've yet to see anything to link him to an individual one let alone 13. So I'm curious as to where you're getting your claim from?

What would the outcome have been HAD Tommy Gambino arrived with his uncle instead of separately "Tommy, get out of here your uncle has just been shot"

And what about Jimmy Brown, "I was supposed to ride with Paulie",

"U wouldn't have been hurt"

Suppose the hit team panicked and just lit up everyone in that car- would the backlash have been different has Paul, Bilotti, Tommy & Jimmy brown all got clipped

He had to go, he was UB, so he was next in line if paul got clipped, Joe Gallo would have gone too if he wasnt in on it.

Thats what made killing Gotti so hard, Gene, Ang, Jr, and a bunch of guys had to go with em, so that bought them time to strike first at big paul, it was kill or be killed.

Yeah from that book Boss Of Bosses I am sure it said he killed 13 men and counting but if it said 11 I stand corrected . You will never know the individual hits he did . A few shows from back in the day said he was a heavy hitter grin

The figure 13 was quoted by the FBI as coming from "street sources".
One murder he was most definitely involved in was that of Thomas "tommy" Ernst, boyfriend of terri D'Alessio, daughter of John "johnny D" D'Alessio, brother of Michael D'Alessio, Billotis captain.

Ernst, also a D'Alessio crew member had done something to piss off his girlfriend dad and uncle and was slated for death.
The first hit attempt was a mess, they tried to run his car off a rural Staten Island road and took shots at it, but the hitters fucked up because Terri D'Alessio was in the car with tommy and she ended up returning fire at the would be killers.
There was one or two more attempts on him before he was finally mowed down in his driveway. The police at the time identified Billoti as the shooter.

He spent a lot of time as Alex DeBrizzi's cauffer/bodyguard. DeBrizzi being the brother in law of Michael D'Alessio who was married to Marie DeBizzi. There is an old FBI report of Bilotti being shooter in two hits for DeBrizzi although I could never find the victims names.
