If you where to pick one boss who had most power..

If you where to pick one boss from any organization, in any era, who would be seen as the most powerful and feared person EVER?

I mean everyone group of bad asses:

Camorra
LCN
Mexican Cartels
Russian Mafia
Yazuka
Triads
'Ndrangheta

(I know I left out a lot, too many to list)


The easy answer would be to figure out who made the most money but I don't think that is always the case....I am sure there were plenty of guys who made tons of money but who would shit in their pants at the mention of an impending disagreement with a person like Carmine Galante.

I also think that people who had no qualms about breaking all the rules would be seen as the most feared...Meaning they would kill women, children, nuns, priests, judges, politicians, family members, whoever stood in their way.

So, who do you all think it is/was?
Who stands in a league of their own?

semion is quite famous is russia also, hes an interesting guy because the FBI only recently look him off their 10 most wanted list, i mean they still really want him but i think they know its not gunna happen unless hes stupid enough to get on a place to america by choice (which hes not). But hes caught in the middle of 2 world superpowers that have bigger issues.

Simply put, the FBI dont have the authority or clout to apprehend him. Now thats pretty badass considering they are thought to be the top law enforcement agency in the world.

Mogilevich, on the other hand, got weaker I think: in 2008 he was arrested and kept in jail until he agreed to sell part of his business to some rivals.
