Possible murders not on Gravano's list question

It gets mentioned sometimes that Gravano was involved in more murders than he admitted to when he became a witness. Philip Carlo mentions it in his books, but they're horrible so I don't give much credence to it. But other than the documented claim that Gravano was involved in the Pete Calabro murder are there other murders that people have actually identified as possibly involving Gravano that were never part of his testimony/admissions?

The Dunn brothers (well guess he was legally cleared on that one)

Louie Milito (admits he set it up but acted like Gotti wanted it done & he had no choice but to go along)

Stymie D'Angelo- claims some guy connected to the Genovese whacked him over a minor dispute in Tali's

Thanks. The Scibetta and Milito murders are part of the 19 that he admits being involved in. He does talk about the Dunn and D'Angelo murders in his book, but I can't think of a reason if he were involved in them not to admit that to the government.

interesting story in 1994 gravano was in the program he feared junior gotti was going to have his son killed so gravano plotted to kill junior gotti apparently offering another inmate in the program money to use a friend on the street as a hitman. It never worked out because another guy in the program whitey boy rick tipped the feds of they apparently told gravano not to do the hit and forced him to stop. Interesting as it never got reported and feds never charged him with anything. That is a true story



there was rumors that he had a cop shot dead in 1980 paying a hitman for the job. The story is that he did not tell the feds as they would not make a deal or that the feds knew and covered it up not wanting a cop killer on stand

now i dont really know if i believe that story

But i do think gravano is a lier on some things for example he said he never deal drugs but as soon as he got out of prison started dealing and that nutjob casso said he was a drug trafficker.

Another interesting thing about gravano one of his guy when he was running that drug ring in arizona was wearing a wire gravano told him he was planning on whacking this investigator because the investigator accused gravano of 32 murders not 19 and was investigating gravano told the kid who was wearing the wire that this investigator was causing him hassle so sammy was going to kill him.

For what its worth in neighborhood legend Sammy had nothing to do with Stymies murder. He was killed because a woman who owned a local bar called him when she had a problem in it with some guy, Stymie went to help her with the problem. Stymie was shot later by the guy and then sometime later the guy was killed. I always heard that the guy was hooked to the Colombos, not the Genoveses.

I couldn't say 100% if it's the true version, but it was definitely the accepted one.

the drug issue in my opinion is true with gas..no way sam never took money from drug guys..some non made guys went to prison and stood up around him..i think it was ron kuby an attorney

There was a story of Gravano killing some lady that was involved in a real estate deal that went south. She was a civilian but Gravano wanted his money back and when she wouldn't come to the party he killed her. Linda Milito speaks about it as I believe her husband may have been involved as well.

Yes that's it- Columbo. Sorry, it's been like 18 yrs since I read Underboss where Sammy states he wanted to whack the guy. But the Columbo's wouldn't give him the okay because they needed to collect on a big loan first
