Lenny Mc'Lean (the Guv'nor) fights mob's tough guy - 04/01/16 09:06 PM

Anyone here have any insight into the time that Britain's hard-man, Lenny 'the Guv'nor' McLean ventured to New York City and fought one of the mob's supposedly toughest guys? Supposedly Lenny thrashed this guy in less than a minute. Then, went back to his hotel room (with his winnings), and hid in the bathroom with a gun until he left for the airport (he was afraid he was gong to be killed).

The enforcer guy was some huge dude that was a good fighter. Lenny was a beast though, and he won many more than he lost (especially in non-boxing matches).

Probably bullshit, like most things Lenny came out with.

He guy could have been a bum off the streets that was touted as the best NYC fighter.... Who can actually verify other than Lenny claiming he took out the mob's toughest guy

Lenny only mentioned one loss in his book but he had more! He liked to project a picture he was the hardest guy in town... And unbeatable
