Cool article but Everyone out trying to get Trump and knock him off the top because he doesn't care if offends the main stream media or speaks what a lot of america is thinking........realistically I am guessing scarf inc may have poured the concrete in some trump casino and also the bar tenders union at that time was run by scarfo and leonetti sooo....the fact he met with the FBI and wanted no direct business with the mob proves trumps pointa nd he also has som many corporations that he personally may never have known if someone was working along side the mob....like how jeb bush tried to knock him down on the gaming issue in Florida...

I wonder how many people unknowingly do business with members of the mob? Probably more than we'd suspect.

The Colombos, they treated Donald Trump badly. They weren't fair to the Donald. Trump won't be appearing at anymore Colombo events.

I used to bus tables at a mob joint when I was kid, I bet average everyday people deal with them on a regular basis and have no clue.

Is Stalupi still active?
He bought a Palm Beach strip club in 2013 which makes no sense if he is worth 400 million, like the article says. Why not just buy Saks Fifth Avenue.

Old news, Dillenger Coachworks has been making those limos since the 80's.
I remember they were even making them right on Sunrise Highway in the basement of the Atlantic Automall.

Try being a major builder in New York City back in the days when Fred (And later Donald) Trump were making their fortunes without brushing up against wiseguys. Not remotely possible.

That is the guy who invented the stretch limo. His nick name was Dillinger because he was a thief as a kid.

Probably you can link that page successfully because Gangsterbb is censoring S-------'s name out with a robot.
And as you can see above, that's exactly what happened when I tried to type out the fella's name without a URL link.

Here's an excerpt for those who can't find the article...
"In 1981, four years before Trump opened his first casino, he met with a pair of FBI agents to “express his reservations about building a casino in Atlantic City,” according to an FBI memo. Trump told investigators that he “read in the press media and had heard from various acquaintances that Organized Crime elements were known to operate in Atlantic City.” Trump added that he wanted to build a casino, but “did not wish to tarnish his family’s name.” In a follow-up meeting, Trump told an FBI agent that he wanted to provide “full disclosure” during the construction of his casino, and even “suggested that [the FBI] use undercover Agents within the casino.”"
So obviously Trump was and is very street smart. He knew that he needed to choose masters, before one was chosen for him.
More than half of the article is going into deep detail concerning the criminal history of the two Colombo associates/members. Skimming the article, all I could see was that Trump got his limo ornaments from the Colombo guys through a licensing deal, and he made a public appearance or two with one of them. Correct me if I left out anything.

If people want to criticize or make Trump look bad this isn't the way to do it. He's said and done plenty of controversial stuff for people to pick and choose from. Running up against the mob in the 1980's should come as a surprise to no one. He's many things, but he's not a crook
