So we know there is Scott Burnstein in Detroit, there is Stephanie Barry in Springfield, MA. Who are other current mob reporters/writers out there workin' the mob beat?

Scarpo has been doing some great stories lately..

He has Bronx but. he has to stop editing his stories. I think the Scars interview was spot on. He does try, I give him that. He did get Scars, Alite, Garcia, DiDonato, Cicale and a few others to sit with him for a story.

He's an absolute clown, but the Scars story was really enjoyable.

Scars would write a great book. That's a book I'd be very interested in.

The Providence Journal had or still has Zachary Malinowski. He did this excellent State of the Mob piece back in 2007.

Howie Carr is the goto guy for all things Whitey Bulger. He has also made a lot of money off of it with separate books about The Bulgers, Flemmi, and Martarano. I swear that each book has the same stories in it told different ways. Talk about a racket!

yes all true, you are correct about him staying focused on the stories and not picking a side.. no editing of anything , unless it is offensive.

hello Sinatra..do you think he is fabricating his stories and sources? he has had some very good reads recently.
